Hi everyone! I'm Coleen and 52yo. I was slim most of my life until menopause hit and brought with it about 50 lbs. I did WW for 10 mos and only lost 10 lbs. After my 4th child 14 years ago I did Atkins and lost my baby weight very quickly, so I decided to do that again. I've been at it for a week and have lost 5 lbs! I heard about this site on their forums so here I am!Smile

Welcome! I cannot seem to get my motivation back! I do 'good' for about 3-4 days in a row, then blow it all by pigging out on some horrible 'trigger' food! [I've got 15-20 pounds to lose... and they are STUBBORN!! I've lost and gained these same 20 lbs at least twenty times in my adult life!] I need some help and encouragement... perhaps we could keep each other on the straight and narrow... I only think to come here when I weigh in once a week... I'm going to start touching base every day... that will help keep me on track! [PS I'm 58 and had a hysterectomy so I was thrown into early menopause...I could definitely tell the difference - especially the way my skin didn't 'bounce back' after weight loss... I started out at 225 and made it to 142, but now am at 161...] FRUSTRATING! Anyway, welcome aboard! Let's support each other!
