I am hoping someone can help. I started at 183 and I am now 156 but i am at a standstill
Exercise 8-10 hours a week - multiple exercises -zumba, cardio, weights, yoga etc.
I am doing a no carb diet. I do a little bit of carbs on the weekends but I am finding that I am losing very slowly right now. Any ideas or interesting recipes would be helpful. If I worked this hard at losing the weight in my 20-30's I wouldnt have to do this now.

I started at almost 240 now hovering around 160 for 2 years. I set a goal for myself in the beginning of 150, not sure I'll ever see that. Keep exercizing, but I think you might actually need more carbs. Increase your fiber and protein, drink lots of water.Be patient and don't give up! It's just a number. Good luck to you.

I know what you mean, I've been hovering around 160-165 for awhile also (goal 13Cool and it is frustrating. But I've been away from here for sometime also, so I need to get back into it and serious. And yes it is only a number, but still I want it to be a smaller one!

I too have hit a plateau. But for what its worth I seem to do that evey few pounds. I find it very frustrating but I'm so grateful that I'm losing weight that I deal with it. I too have gotten complacent about coming to the website and putting in my food/exercise and now I have to weigh in. wish me luck!

Sometimes by going right back to the basics ... to the beginning when you started can help. GO back to weighing and measuring everything and tracking it. I've gone through this too and I've surprised myself on how we "slip" slowly back to the old habits. Not enough to gain everything back, but enough to put us in "maintenance". Just a suggestion.
