Hello everyone! I am 47 and need to lose (according to the experts) 107 lbs. I am not currently following any specific diet meal plan but instead trying to eat fresh fruits and vegys and lean meats. Also trying to stay away from processed foods and wheat products. By just modifying the way I eat, I have lost 5 lbs. Yesterday I started the 10 Minute Trainer and actually liked the first 3-10 minute programs I tried. I am also trying to journal my food and exercise since just about every program recommends it. I am looking forward to positive changes in my life!

hi i am 40 years old and i am trying to do the same thing as eating healthier and staying away from wheat,which can be hard to do but it can be done and there are so many benefits to it as well,i am also trying to up the excercise as i cant satnd exercising ugh yes i admit it,but i finally found one i really like and its a walking dvd and its so great,but i just want to say,i love your enthusiasm and that your taking it slow,which is a great way to start as it is healthier to do it like that.and proud that you have lost 5 lbs WAY TO GO!!!!!

I to am going the healthy route, but have decided to try at least 3 week with watching my ratios. This means that I have a set CAL count, not to go over each day, and I have a ratio of Carbs: Protein:Fat that i watch. Due to medical issues, I also have a daily goal of 30+ grams of natural fiber. It is hard to count all this stuff, but I plan my days food the night before, put it in my chart and we'll see where i am in 3 weeks. So far, 3 days in and down 2.3 lbs.... so I t may be worth it!
