Hi there, I'm new to the group and to fat secret. I've been tracking for 2 days now.. great app. I have lost and gained the same 50 pounds over the last 15 years! This time I want to lose 70 lbs and keep them off! I'm a busy mom with 2 boys, married, work full time at a desk and driving to lots of activities in the evenings. I really need to start exercising. But tracking really helped when I was on Weight watchers...

Hello marmom67, I am not new to fat secret however I must confess I have not been on here much and have not explored much on the site but now find myself in a have to situation for health reasons. I live in Arkansas USA and look forward to talking with others in this 40's group.

I've been tracking my food every day since I started last week. This is a great tool. Just keeping track makes you really think twice. I haven't excercised much this week as I've been sick. Still sick but I hope to start doing some minimal stuff soon, maybe even tonight! I really don't know how many calories I should have, the system was telling me almost 2200 but I think I only need 1800 to lose weight. That still seems like alot compared to some people around here!
