Today, I'm getting my first nephew. It's been a nutso day. I'm still at work trying to wrap up immediate needs before I zip off to the hospital. As easy as my shakes are, my brain evaporated and I left the house without them. I can pack one for dinner but breakfast and lunch were a wash on truly healthy food. (I asked for tomato and green pepper on my grilled cheese to make me feel better. Rolling Eyes )

How do you guys deal with eating properly on days that take you off guard?

Being an Herbalife junkie, I try to follow the things they post. This popped up on their blog as some tips to help eat out. Not necessarily stuff that can help you when you're on the run all day during "one of those days" but good tips none the less.

I just try and order small, and take things off where I can. Like, get a grilled chicken sandwich and lose half the bun. Get a baked potato instead of fries (just don't load it up with tons of toppings). Eat slowly, and drink LOTS of water. Sometimes chewing on a piece of sugar free gum helps me, too.
