I actually feel quite daunted by the prospect of exercising. If I'm honest with myself I haven't made a concerted effort to exercise regularly for about 10 years. Money's tight so I don't want to join a gym, I really do feel too wobbly to go jogging around town and where's all the extra time gonna come from... garggh I can't quite get my head around it.Confused

Bah! I'm just making excuses it's not going to get any easier sitting here using the computer! Longer dog walks maybe...? Doubt

Anyone got any useful tips to help me get started?Wink

try p90x - you can buy on ebay cheap, and do at home...it is kind of intimidating cause they are pretty fit...but just do what you can and keep moving. great variety and not too long before you see results!

Also, you can try out different exercise DVDs from netflix. You can even stream a lot of them to your computer! And never underestimate the power of walking. If you get a few hills in there, you'll get your heartrate up. I really like walking. If you go for an hour walk a day, that's a good place to start. Or biking or hiking. Your dog will love you Smile You can help him (her) stay in shape too!
Now that I'm used to exercising, I really see the benefit of it especially for stress.
