Hey. I've restarted a diet. Yes. Again. This time I'm sort of following weight watchers. Points and all that. I'm 35, married and a mother of a toddler. My husband and I have been talking about having another baby. I've decided I need to lose some weight first. This isn't baby weight. I was about this weight before I had my first. I didn't gain a thing. I was able to wear my prepregnancy jeans the week after I had her. But since I was this big, I'm not sure that's saying much! I just want to be healthier. I want more out of life. I am accomplishing so much in other aspects of my life. This is the one problem I never seem to solve! Anyway. Hi! I'm here too, a little late, but still replying!
I'm just starting to track what I eat (again). I had some success in years past with Weight Watchers, but like this food diary muuuuuuch better. Of course, it's free! I recently started working out with kettlebells, and that's been fun!
I'm also a mom, but in my case, I gained too much weight during the pregnancy and after the C-section, my midsection has been like jelly.
My son is now 2 1/2 years old, with a developmental delay. Bad news- he's not walking on his own yet. Good news- I carry him, which is a workout in and of itself!
Besides being a single mom and seeking a job (without much luck), I have a pretty happy and full life.
Except when it comes to food. I think I use it as a crutch, and to make myself feel better about things I'm unhappy about (that I don't express).
I'm looking for support! Any thoughts?

Hey I am in the same boat as you....I need to lose before getting pregnant again. I have a 9 1/2 month old and really want another. I have Hashimotos hypothyroidism and am s/p right thyroidectomy. I can't afford to add baby weight in addition to the extra I am already carrying. Dood luck!!
