Hi All,

Just joined the forum, wanted to introduce myself. I'm 31, married 3 years, and have a 15 month old daughter. In 2006, I lost 25 pounds in 7 months by calorie counting on the Heart Smart diet on I loved the site, and found it to be a really useful tool. But, I was single, no kids, and so my life was much different then!

I started on the 8-Hour Diet January 2, and at my weigh-in this morning, I've lost 2 pounds! Wondering if anyone else is trying this? I choose to follow it 5 days a week (the book says minimum 3 days to see any results), and start eating at 11am, stop at 7pm. So far, so good!

How is the New Year going for you so far?

The most important meal is breakfast because we need energy after 12h of sleeping (so not eating), so Im not really into the idea of staying without food until 11am unless someone get up at 10.45 am. You arrive at lunch starving and a very low % of sugar in body and is needed for the brain to work properly.
Im old fashion, so i prefer 5 litte small serves during the day well balanced.
