Hi all! Same boat, sort of!
I'm 21 and have been on my 'weightloss journey' since August 2012. Honestly, it feels like a lifetime ago that I was eating takeaways most nights of the week, but it's only been a few months.
Like you, I have been overweight most of my life. I remember having to wear corrective shoes when I first started to learn to walk because my little legs couldn't really hold my weight as a baby, so basically, I have been overweight since I was born. I naturally lost quite a bit of 'puppy fat' when I was around 14/15 years old and was actually quite thin but since hitting 16/17 years of age I have just been going onwards and upwards until I stepped on the scales in August 2012 and saw 202lbs. I was so angry with myself.
I know how you feel with regard to family, my mum is like a baby bird! She's a good 3 or 4 dress sizes smaller than I am and my two sisters are both around the same as her, so family photos are my worst nightmare to say the least!
I am now weighing in at 169.8lbs (my goal was to be in the 160's by Christmas so as you can see, I only worked as hard as I needed to to just make it!) but I know I could have done lots better. I am now on day 2 of the Dukan diet and finding it super hard, haven't even thought about working out as I can't think of anything I'd rather not do right this minute! My main problem is that I love chocolate and I am super lazy, not a good combo if you're trying to drop the pounds!
I am also looking for motivation and a kick up the butt when I'm feeling like I can't do it anymore, I'd be more than happy to be the motivator as well!We could all help each other out? The 21 clan

Christmas Day 2012: 169lbs
New Year's day 2013: Starting the Dukan Diet at 169.8lbs
1 Feb 2013: 160.4lbs
1 August 2013: 146lbs
