You've got to find a good substitute. My favs are whipped cream and cocoa, or whipped cream and mashed frozen berries. The cocoa tastes like pudding and the berries taste like ice cream.
Sometimes I'll also eat an avocado mashed with just salt and lemon. The salt helps and the good fats are really satisfying.
Also pistachios have become my new best friend. They have bags of shelled guys so I can just grab a handful without the bother of shelling them. Gotta keep an eye on portion sizes, but by enjoying each one they are a great treat.
Personally I can't do the whole 'just a bite' bit. I know some people can an I applaud their restraint! I just can't though. I avoid the stuff I really want and as long as I don't eat any I'm good.
