I just recently restarted my weight loss goal after being pregnant and miscarrying I had put on 20lbs. After loosing the baby I went into a depression and gained another 20. I have so far lost almost four pounds averaging a pound a week. But doing it on my own this time isn't enough. I am looking for some people to share my triumphs with and my road blocks. This time around I am looking to loose at least 50lbs if not more! I am a terrible stress eater. If I get stressed I crave anything sweet and salty. I have given up chocolate, soda and anything with caffeine in it. So far I have been able to stick to it. Are there any others out there with a stress eating issue?

I have been in your shoes, so, I can honestly say, "I know how that feels." After the loss of my baby, I went for everything that was sweet because that is where I found comfort. Now when I am stressed and craving something salty, I have a few wheat-thins with a spicy hummus dip. I too have given up chocolate and candy, but, I can't do without my caffeine. Another great snack is the Special K pastry thins; they come in different varieties like chocolate delight, strawberry, blueberry, and brown sugar cinnamon. The two pastry thins are only 100 calories, so I don't feel so bad when I have a pack.

Most of my life has been losing weight only to gain it back again soon afterwards. I'm tired of this dysfunction & I'm ready to be healthy & active for my 2 yr-old twin boys! Nothing will stop me this time-I'm going to start feeling my ageSmile
