In 1991, husband and wife team Dr Rachael and Dr Richard Heller published the national bestseller "The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet". Dr Rachael Heller has a background in psychology and Dr Richard Heller in biology.

Other books within the carbohydrate addict range include: a 7 Day Rescue and Recovery Plan, Healthy For Life, Program for Success, LifeSpan Program and Healthy Heart Program, one for the kids, calorie/fat/carb counters and a few cookbooks.
