I'm trying to lose a few lbs, which I find is very difficult, when you don't have too much body fat. I've done some research, and think I've found the perfect diet that works for me.
My diet requires a complete log for every food/beverage consumed. I really love this website, because it makes counting calories, fat, and proteins very easy.
When logging in food, be sure to vary your intake to accommodate the 50/30/20 carbs/fats/proteins combo.

How To Follow sweetpe's own diet:
|
|
Approx 1200 calories per day, with a ratio of...
50% Carbs
30% Fat
20% Protein
Drink lots of water, with lemon juice (I've read citrus increases metabolism)
I am also taking green tea supplements (liquid form) with every meal. I've read about great health benefits of green tea, and also increases metabolism! ;)
Absolutely no processed foods!
No soda.
No alcohol (I just stopped this week, but not sure how long that's going to last. Probably just until I'm satisfied with my weight).
Incorporate hot peppers into your diet (it also is supposed to increase your metabolism)

I've gained a few extra pounds during the cold months, and would really love to get down to 105 for the summer. Am giving myself plenty of time, so that makes my goal more attainable.

About / History
|
|
I've tried many diets over the past years. I've tried diet pill, books, exercise, not eating, etc. Some of those things worked for shorts amounts of time, especially when I was younger, but now that I'm approaching 30, I can feel my body change. I wasn't able to lose weight using the shortcuts I've done in the past. That's when my research began. So far, so good.
