Healthy Diet by Maude G

 Summary:

My diet consists of eating well and feeling good about myself. I eat lots of whole breads and cereals, fruits, vegetables, source of proteins like nuts and eggs and fish. I don't eat read meat but you can moderately.

By following a healthy diet, you're body and taste will get used to organic and simple food. No need to add loads of salt or fake sugars: Food is already full of flavours. Don't hesitate to spice up food though. My favourites are curry, garlic, parsley, basil and more.

Exercising daily is also very important. My body asks me to move, my heart needs to pump. I allow myself a day of relaxation a week (of doing nothing). Otherwise, I try to do at least 30 min of something I like everyday. Be creative and start to give your body something he likes more than anything: Sport!

How To Follow Healthy Diet by Maude G:

Do some research about what is good or not. Make a list of things you want to try with recipes you could do with. Go to the supermarket when your kitchen is empty and spend the time you need to look up everything you put in your basket. Make your own food, learn to have fun in the kitchen by experimenting and mixing flavours.

Set your mind to a new, healthy and happy way of life!

maudeg's top tips

1.Be active! My diet contains a lot of good carbohydrates from whole bread and cereal. Don't be shy to burn them up to get in shape and feel good about yourself.
2.Daily 30 min of exercise a day. Could be a powerwalk, bicycling, on-floor exercises with weights or without to sculpt your body. It could also be dancing, as long as you get your heart to pump a bit.
3.Had a chocolate crave? Yes I feel you. My trick is to, after having eaten candies, cakes or cookies, drink hot water with pressed lemon in it and to do as much jumping-jack I can fit in a minute. My body will then use up the sugar I ate. You can repeat this exercise until you fell less guilty!
4.Allow yourself some treat. I personally eat 1 piece of chocolate a day 'cause it makes me feel good.
5.Drink water at every meal- Nothing else. You don't need all that sugar in beverages like coca-cola or juices. Water is better for you! Take your coffee without sugar- White sugar is BAD. There are good sugars and they are in fruits. Your body doesn't need fake white processed sugars. You will get use to a sugar-less diet in no time and soon won't need that much sugar in your body.

About / History

I am very interested in how body works and I am currently following an advanced biology class. I love eating well and I know that loosing weight is a matter of time more than effort. Changing your life habits takes a strong will, but once it is done, nothing can stop you. Throw in the garbage those diets who are prohibiting you from eating carbs, dairy product and everything that makes life enjoyable. You only have to start to learn what is good food and what is bad food and make your own decisions. I am constantly looking up new recipes around the world to have a creative and fun menu. (Favourite: Thai, Indian, Japanese, Italian, Greek)
