 Summary:

I'm at a healthy weight and pretty good bodyfat (20% at 140 lbs), but I would like to lose some fat off of my lower body and generally lean out a bit more. Keeping up my muscle mass is very important to me, so my calories tend to be higher rather than lower.

I also would like to get rid of sugar cravings and minimize hunger. This diet has worked amazing so far in that department.

I'm also looking to minimize my intake of processed foods and grains to see if it improves my energy level and digestion.

BBJuice's top tips

1.No legumes - this means no peanut butter, either! Try macademia, hazelnut, or almond nut butters instead - delicious!
2.No grains - yes, no "healthy" or "whole" grains, either! That means no quinoa, no oats, etc.
3.Eating out is possible, although some places will have more options than others - if choices are limited, a burger without a bun is always a safe option.

About / History

This is essentially the "primal" diet - paleo + dairy. I enjoy dairy, so I wasn't willing to give it up, plus it's a good source of protein. I'm quite busy and not always able to have a full meal when I'm hungry, so having a container of Greek yogurt to gulp down handy is very helpful.
