suziqrrt's top tips

1.Read every label you pick up.
2.Quit going out to eat. The calorie counts at fastfood places are astronomical.
3.Broccoli and sugar snap peas are your friends. Steam 'em, add a little pat of butter and yum, yum.
4.Give yourself one free day per week. This helps me tremendously. Eat whatever you want. This gives you something to look forward to.
5.If you choose your food wisely, you will find that 1200 calories is plenty.

About / History

I started doing this to lose weight and I have lost about 70 lbs. Then I noticed my skin looked better, my iron levels were up, and I just generally felt better. I started looking at my food and realizing I had cut processed foods down to a bare minimum. No cane or corn syrup, no hydrogenated fats, very few chemicals. In other words, I was eating fresh, homemade food. I have never felt better.
