Quick Weight Loss Center Diet

 Summary:

The diet is low in sodium, fat, sugar, and carbs, and high in protein. It is structured so that you enjoy small, frequent meals (I eat three meals/day and enjoy two to three snacks between meals). You also drink 10 8-oz. glasses of water daily and must limit caffeine (two cups of coffee or caffeinated tea daily) and two diet sodas (diet sodas that do not contain caramel coloring such as diet Cherry 7-up or diet Sunkist). Artificial sweeteners are limited to two packets per day. You prepare your own food, but must purchase multivitamins, herbs, carb blockers, and essential fatty acids from QWLC. They will provide you with all the instructions for the diet and you must check-in/weigh-in with the counselors at the center, preferably at least three times a week (or as often as everyday if you need the support). They also provide you with a cookbook that is very helpful!

There is a pretty steep initial outlay of $$ with QWLC, but there are things you can do to make it more affordable. For instance, high protein supplements are included on the diet (two per day) and can be purchased through QWLC, but I have found them on-line through Nashua Nutrition for much cheaper. I'm sure there are other diet websites that offer them, as well.

How To Follow Quick Weight Loss Center Diet:

If you are someone who can adhere to a very limited, strict diet and want to see quick results, this diet is great. I am very black and white and this is not difficult for me. In fact, in many ways it's preferable to allowing me to make too many choices! The first time I was on this diet, I had to give up diet Coke. That was tough! But I got through it and followed the diet to a tee. I lost 43# in three months. It is essential that you check-in with the counselors. They can help you make small adjustments in the diet when you hit plateaus or encounter other problems. Exercise is not required, but (as with any diet), if you are able, you will see results faster and I have found that hit helps curb my appetite.

SugarMama's top tips

1.QWLC Diet requires that you drink 10 8-oz. glasses of water daily. I am not naturally a water-drinker, so that presented some challenges. I found that if I squeeze a little lemon in my water, I enjoy it much more.
2.Meet with the counselors at QWLC at least three times a week. They will help you work around any issues you encounter! That's what they're there for. They're especially helpful if you hit a plateau.
3.If you follow the diet, you WILL see quick results!
4."5280" Grind is a great salt-free seasoning I found to add flavor to chicken, turkey, and fish when I cook it. I order it from Colorado Spice Boys (on-line).
5.Some of the supplements sold at QWLC can be purchased from Nashua Nutrition (on-line) for much cheaper than they are sold at QWLC (such a protein bars, shakes and puddings, beverages, etc.) or other diet websites on-line.

About / History

I have tried Weight Watchers, South Beach, and calorie counting, but they all allowed me too much leeway and I ended up having minimal long-term success. QWLC is a very strict diet, but I found that it was easy to follow and most important, the diet is very effective and I saw results quickly. I lost 43# in three months last time I was on it and kept it off for quite some time. Unfortunately, I did not stay on the program through stabilization and maintenance (all included in the price) and after two years, found that my weight had slowly crept back up to where it is today. Now I have about 25# to lose and I am back at QWLC -- only this time I will stay through the stabilization and maintenance phases of the plan.
