Lemon/Veggie Diet


 Summary:

Before starting this diet, I went on a 10-day fast using just lemon-water(heated or chilled), 100% apple juice, and the occasional chicken or vegetable broth.

After completing the 10-day fast, Monday through Wednesday, I fast on just lemon juice with water, vegetarian vegetable broth, some juice(8 ounces a day), and the occasional coffee. Thursday through Sunday, I eat vegetarian meals, mostly vegetarian chili because it's easy and I only have to cook once a week(check out some of my recipes).

My goal is to be at a healthy weight, gain more muscle, and have more energy for my new business(photography studio).

 How To Follow Lemon/Veggie Diet:

I exercise every morning. It really helps get the day started. I do a lot of pushups and do 30 minutes on the treadmill, but I recommend anything that works for you. It seems to be the most invigorating exercise for me. I also like using exercise bands, they are portable, so you can exercise anywhere.

I rarely go into the kitchen. I only keep the bare necessities in there. Vegetables, lemon juice, 100% apple juice, chilled water, and pure honey when I want to heat up my lemon-water.

About / History

This diet is very extreme and it is only meant for those who are very overweight(i.e. obese). People tell me that it sounds unhealthy, but I always tell them that the stuff I was eating before was unhealthy, so I need something really extreme the offset my previous behavior. A normal diet just isn't going to be enough for me to go full-on into a healthy eating regimen. Extreme just works for me and it may work for you.
