Naty25's top tips

1.Portion control is key! Remember: It doesn't matter how healthy you are eating if you are eating way too much!
2.Look out for sales! Lots of grocery stores offer "Buy one, Get one Free" items. This is a great way to stock up and save! Remember: Stock up on the healthy stuff!
3.If you can, standardize breakfast. Choose one meal that you will have every morning (for example: A bowl of cereal and an apple.) Having a standard breakfast will ensure that you don't skip, because its easier to prepare and will save you money because you don't have to buy a variety of breakfast foods.

About / History

I originally came up with this diet for myself because I wanted not only to lose weight, but I also had to save up money to pay for my MCAT study material and medical school application fees. I realized that by buying meats, veggies and grains and not eating out (at all!), I could attain both of these goals at the same time!

And with that, The Po' Diet was born.
