 Summary:

I would refer you to the book or the website - just google fat resistance diet. This is a balanced diet with emphasis on anti-inflammatory foods and spices, omega-3's, fiber, and antioxidants. I had already tried to incorporate some of these principles into my diet on my own - fish 3 times a week, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, etc. This diet was based on those principles - it was a perfect match. Diet plans and menus for 6 weeks in the book.

2.A great nonstick skillet makes meals easier to prepare with olive oil
3.Pomegranate juice and black cherry concentrate are great natural sweeteners
4.Maintain a supply of limes and lemons in your refrigerator
5.Farmers markets!
6.While the emphasis of this diet is not on organic foods, my emphasis is to reduce the toxins that might be contributing to inflammation, so I do try to use organic products as much as possible.

About / History

Frustrated with my inability to lose weight despite a healthy diet and exercise in addition to a recent unexplainable rapid weight gain, I began to scour the diet section at the library and found this book. I'm excited to see if this will be the diet that helps me lose and maintain my ideal body weight.
