This is not a diet I came up with - I want to be clear about that. This diet is a 'no processed foods' diet which promises greater health long-term; weight loss happens to be a perk. It does make some demands on you, not necessarily in portion restriction (although some meals are), but more in the meals and foods that are prepared and eaten. It will challenge you to think about many foods in many different ways and to learn more about what actually goes into those pre-packaged, so-called 'healthy' things that people buy every day.
The diet is based on foods that are recommended, foods that are allowed in moderation (unless you are overweight), and foods that are discouraged and/or not allowed. Even these can be had as a rare treat from time to time.
I am not at liberty to give any nutritional details or menus, as it would surely be an infringement of copyright. The book is downloadable or available as a hardback copy from the site below:

As with any diet, the transition to healthier eating can be difficult for those who are used to eating a certain way. The long-term benefits, however - not just weight loss and improved PCOS symptoms, but also improved mood, better skin, more energy, even better sex, and many others - FAR outweigh any extra work you will have to do planning and preparing the meals.
