This diet is kind of like Weight Watchers in that you don't completely eliminate any foods. You don't have to count points though! Instead you can come on here and log in what you've eaten to regulate your diet. You can really have anything you want but you should limit certain foods and have an abundance of other foods. Fruits and Veggies are key to this diet. You should try to have a fruit or veggie at every meal. Baked goods, sweets, candy, and processed foods should be kept to a minimum. This diet is really about using your common sense.

1.Say yes to Fruits and Veggies -- You should have fruit/veggies at every meal! Same benefits as whole grains plus have tons of vitamins and minerals. This is the most important part of this diet. Eat as much as you want!
2.Say yes to Whole Grains -- Also slowly digested by the body. Makes you feel full and will give you long lasting energy. Whole grains are good at preventing cancer, improving cholesterol, and improving heart health.
3.Say yes to Protein -- Protein is digested slowly by the body so it keeps you full longer. It is also good for muscle rejuvenation. Try to incorporate some protein into every meal.
4.Say no to Beef & Pork- very high in calories and cholesterol. This diet is also good for those who want to slowly move to a vegetarian lifestyle and/or want to lower
5.Diet to be healthy, then to lose weight. Remind yourself of this often. You don't want to die early due to poor lifestyle choices.
6.Don't just step on the scale, measure your waist. Ideally our waist should be 1/2 of our length in inches. Any more and we are more prone to heart related illnesses.

I have been on multiple diets and I find myself always coming to the same conclusion when I'm done with a diet. A diet will only provide you with temporary weight loss, usually in the form of water loss, what I need is a lifestyle change. If I want to live to a ripe old age and live in good health then I need to change my lifestyle.
