This is my perfect way of eating. Mostly healthful with occasional treats. As a cook I love shopping for and preparing food. It's my creative outlet. I want to prove you can eat well and lose excess weight or maintain your ideal weight.

 How To Follow marce's own diet:

1500 cal/day
Breakfast - 1 egg, 2 slices ww toast, 2 tsp butter, coffee
Lunch - salad w/ 4-6 oz lean protein
Snack - apply w/ peanut butter, yogurt & fruit, or cheese w/ whole grain cracker
Dinner - 1 cup carb (pasta, rice, potato)4-6 oz lean protein, unlimited vegetables, 1 Tbl butter, oil, dressing

marce's top tips

1.Avoid processed foods - take time to prepare real food simply.
2.Choose whole grain over white
3.Eat the rainbow - a wide variety of fruits and vegetables
4.Use Vinegar, lemon juice, peppers, spices instead of cream, cheese and butter
5.Drink water often -- you may not be hungry, just thirsty
6.Burn more than you consume to lose weight. No magic cures.

About / History

I worked with a nutritionist to lose baby weight and learned to think about how what I ate made me feel. I found that my body needs protein, but craves carbs and sweets. When I eat whole grain carbs and protein I feel better and eat less. I found that fruits and vegetables taste sweeter after you stop eating sugary food.
