About / History

The Curves weight loss program sprang from the Curves fitness franchise, a worldwide operation dedicated to fitness and weight loss for women. It was founded by Gary Heaving in 1992, and he developed a complete workout in 30 minutes for women, claiming to achieve the same benefits as a full hour of activity. He has published a book "Curves: Permanent Results Without Permanent Dieting" (2003).
