Cardio 3x per week, Strength training 2x per week.

For the first three weeks, focus on doing cardio three days per week (ideally for 30 minutes at a time, but do whatever you can). Do strength training exercises at least twice per week. It could be a full weight training workout at the gym, or it could be as simple as 15 minutes of pushups, body weight squats, and lunges at home. Anybody can fit in 15 minutes twice per week!

Weeks 4 to 6

Cardio 4x per week, Strength training 3x per week

Add one cardio workout and one strength workout per week. You can combine them into one, for example swimming laps, or 45 minutes of a decently intense yoga program. Or, do 15 minutes of pushups and lunges before a 30 minute run. Step it up!
