I have been overweight all my life, and I see it affecting my health now. I want to look in the mirror everyday and say "Damn!" Smile. What about you?

I was never skinny but I was built. I was an athlete all through high school and college. Work and life got in the way and I just couldnt find the strength to get motivated. I took a long hard look in the mirror and said NO MORE...Im going to get my life back.

About a year and a half ago i joined a gym, got a trainer, worked my tuckus off, lost around 50 lbs...became stagnant, trainer quit me, gained the 50 lbs back and am starting over AGAIN. but that is OK. i did it once, i can do it again. Smile oh. back to the question. why? it feels great when you can get on the floor and get back up with ease, it jsut feels great when you drop some extra weight.

Im 26, only a couple years out of college and engaged. I just got a great new job and moved to a nicer area/ We went from being dirt broke (cant pay rent in one shot kinda broke) to being fairly comfortable. With the (good) shock of the move and extra cash I gained about 11 lbs mainly because there was yummy food in our previously bare cupboards. I want to look as fabulous as my new life is so Im taking off the 11 lbs (down 5 already) and getting rid of the extra 15 lbs that Ive always held onto and revealing the sexy new successful me. And I want to do it before my Fiance's birthday June 23 - only 21.2 lbs to go.

Good luck everyone!

I have had trouble with my weight all my life. I am almost 50 years old and I feel like I am 100. I have had two knee replacements, high blood pressure, and high cholestrol. I want to be healthy and active. I love hiking, horse back riding, camping, fishing or just being active. I want to be able to do these things and feel good about the way I look. I am tired all the time and on so much medication. I want to look and feel good again.

I used to be about 140lb before depression set in, and I'm one hell of a comfort eater. I've put on 50lb since then and I want to get over this slump (exercise makes you happier after all) and get fitter again. It's just having the motivation on some days that I find hard...

A couple years ago I los 65lbs after having a baby and a husband that left me. Today I have gained most of that weight back after becoming happy with a new life, a man that truly loves me and 2 wondeful kids! I am tired of not having any energy and feeling tired and like I don't want to do anything! I finally want to be happy with myself and I want my weight to reflect that and how happy I am with my life! Wink

Last time I was on a plane the seat belt just barely didn't fit. How embarrassing it was to have to ask for a seat belt extender. I heard the man behind me laugh. It was soul crushing. Weight creeps up on you. Your old clothes just seem to stretch with your body. The last time I lost 70 lbs. I threw away all clothes with elastic waists. Some how they crept back into my closet.

I want to get control of my blood pressure. Sure it is good as long as I take my med. but I want to reduce or stop taking it all together.

Tired of being unhappy and unhealthy. I want to be able to not have to go on a mission to actually buy a nice outfit to wear, because nothing fits me.

First and foremost.. I need to do it for me. I literally have close to no clothes and utterly refuse most times to buy anything because I just hate shopping at my weight. So it's time to feel good about me. More than anything I want to be able to receive a compliment and say, "thank you" not "Yeah right." My boyfriend has been with me at my original weight for almost 3 years now. He has love me unconditionally and truly just wants me to be happy. He has been my rock during this and has been a HUGE support system for me. So.. it seemed appropriate that I set up my goals to where I would be at my goal weight by his birthday, September 27.

Start: 219.8 (4/24/12)
Down to 195 - Lose 23 pounds from 4/24/12 to 6/9/12
Down to 180 - Lose 15 pounds from 6/10/12 to 7/14/12
Down to 165 - Lose 15 pounds from 7/15/12 to 8/24/12
Down to 150 - Lose 15 pounds from 8/25/12 to 9/27/12
