Pam and I have started a new challenge. Big girls don,t eat Pie. It,s not showing on main page. If u need an invite let us know who,s all in it starts. Feb. 22 and Cathy made a spreadsheet for this weekif u need to be on straight and narrow.

Well after true confessions yesterday. I woke up at 5:00 and my house is spotless. That,s always a good sign. It,s step up Wed. Who,s joining me. Laurie

Laurie - Please invite me to the new challenge.

My son is handling things fine. He jumped right back in at school (band, drama, chorus). He has a lot of friends that support him, including the entire 110 member band. I think the whole thing has just triggered some unresolved feelings from my child hood.

I am thrilled to have lost so much during the first challenge! I can't believe I did that. And I have really, really enjoyed working out.

Here are the things I've noticed after the first month of this journey:
1) It is easier to get up after I sit on the floor (I don't feel so awkward)

2) When I am on the stationary bike, I don't feel my belly bouncing between my knees and my boobs. LOL

3) My face looks thinner

4) My jeans aren't as tight

5) I feel PROUD every time I walk out of the gym

Congratulations to the winners!

Laurie, How do you know me so well? LOL! Everything you said in your last post yesterday was 100% correct.

Cathy, I'm glad your son is doing ok. People can be so cruel. I'm glad he is in the band. They definitely stick together.

I had tea last night for my snack, but then ended up eating a few almonds. I didn't go over my calorie allotment though. Will do tea again on Thur. and Sat.

When we start the new challenge, one of the things we do, should be having to check in here everyday. We owe it to each other to be here. It really makes a difference. No one wants a support group with only 2 or 3 members. I am guilty of this myself, but knowing how it feels to want to share and no one is there has made me rethink and I have decided that no matter what I need to be here at least once every day and really more than that. I hope you all agree...

Everyone have a good day

Hey, Sherry. Did you try your starfruit? I tried it tonight and found it awfully tart. I read about them and thought I had a ripe one. I'm going to save it and make some apple juice in the morning with the rest of the starfruit in it.

Cathy, I didtry the starfruit and I agree it wasn't as sweet as I had hoped. I will try it one more time, just to make sure.

Hello

I went out with hubby for dinner and hockey game because tomorrow I am leaving early I am leaving to go back to Sudbury to be with sister, they are going ahead with surgery , either tomorrow or Friday so I want & need to be there, peace of mind, close to her even if they do not let me in, that is fine I will be close in spirit......
on the flip side a bit of time to myself to gather my thoughts, always always have to look at the positive.

I did get on treadmill today for 40 mins. I have my computer packed free wii fii at hotel and they kick us out of hospital by 7 usually anyway , so I plan on eating a healthy dinner to the best of my ability. Then say hello and check in as this helps me keep my sanity.

I have packed in a bag for the hotel room:
protein shakes
small v-8's ( so to get some veggs in instead of chips)
and 3 cans of green beans
and disposable forks
I will snack on green beans in room if feel food monster knocking on my door.

oh yes a case of water is ready to go in the vehicle.

Cathy congrats , great job.

tea is what night?

YES please include me in the challenge.

off to sleep
sorry it is short.
