Hey All

Like both idea's...One person from top one from bottom, 2nd person top one from... till we have teams... Maybe three depends upon how many people. Maybe come up with percentage of weight loss per week and then mini's with food challenges..... Percentage of completion... That way you still push yourself and others, but the team still moves if 100% isnt completed.... But truly whatever is decided, I'm good with it

Sherry - I too am jealous, I would love new counter tops and bathroom and kitchen floors too...

Denise - Please keep us updated on Sis... We are hear for you!!! Thoughts and prayers for you both..

Laurie - I agree with Denise, Lotto ticket... LOL... however, Ouch... that has to hurt...

Pam - I'll cook you provide the gym.. LOL... I'm on my way.. PS My unk lives in Gilmer near Longview how far is that from you? I'm thinking about driving my Mom and Dad down to visit with Unk he's 82 and Mom is getting really worried about not ever seeing him again... May need to take the week off...

Anne - I think we are all with you, never got picked first and most the time 2nd to last or last.. It was a good day when it was 2nd.. LOL

Ok off to the 4 letter word... Gym later with hubby...

I am so thrilled to have found this challenge. It really helps to have a team to chat with and to be accountable. I'm in for however we do the team challenge.

I read the details of the food challenge this week. Glad I did. I didn't even think of the chicken fingers that we eat for dinner on crazy busy days. Those are out for the week. I'm really trying to up seafood and other sources of protein (chickpeas, edamame, beans). That will help this week.

Already done calf raises. Doing some work around the house for the rescue and some fundraising for my son's band, then heading to the gym mid-afternoon. As much as I HATE being unemployed right now, this break has certainly made it easier for me to get gym time in my day. LOL

Morning Teamies,

Thanks for posting the link Sherry I,m so into my pity party. I keep thinking of all the what ifs with my tooth. It was all I could do to force myself to walk this morning. It,s the financial burden I csn,t deal with. To put a 1000.00 on your credit card too have it in worse shape . Financially I can,t afford to take care of myself and that is scary and when I feel unsafe I eat. So I,m proud that I took tje walk this mornimg and I,m in awe of u Denise the changes you,ve made emotionally. I,m lagging behind. I,ll catch up ,Coffee please, Laurie

Hang in there, Laurie. You will be able to take care of yourself - financially, emotionally and physically. Just take things one step at a time, one day at a time, and if you have to one minute at a time.

I believe in you!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I am so late tonight. My countertops are in and the next step is the backsplash. They look so good and I am so excited. When I moved in with Dad everything needed cleaning and up-dating. The problem was that he didn't want to get rid of anything and I just gave up for awhile. I was ashamed to even invite my friends over. I have been here 2 years and my best friend has never been here. I am no longer ashamed. I have done a lot of cleaning and gotten rid of a ton of stuff since Dad has been in the nursing home. If he gets to come home, I will deal with him then. I have to do this for me. It is making me happy.

The living room had dark heavy drapes that were very depressing and made the room feel like a dungeon. I hung new curtains on Sunday. They are light and airy and allow the sunshine to come in. It is so much brighter in there and now I actually want to leave my room and be in there.

Laurie - I understand where you are coming from. It is hard being single women with only ourselves to depend upon. I have very little in savings for emergency situations. Just know that we are always here if you need to talk.

Cathy - I'm so glad you found us, too!!

I'm going to watch tv before bed. Glad I don't have ice cream...I am craving it. I will have yogurt or cottage cheese instead.

Strive for progress...not perfection!
