Morning teamies,

Headed out for a root canal wanted to touch base. Our challenge is ending next week. Pam and I were thinking of having teams compete in our new challenge to encourage more accountability and this site is user friendly that way. Feedback please. Laurie

Oh, I am not really good at competing....nobody want me on team, always picked last ya know, lol.

Got up at 6am on my day off and got some cardio done! Felt good, but I can tell I have been slacking. Weight is same. Taking mom to app today, errands, then chores and guests for dinner.

Hope the rc goes smoothly and painlessly.

Morning teamies! Last week was a rough one for me, everything was out of whack, not sure how I mananged the 20 miles.

It is dreary here today and my mood is about the same. At least I have moved and re-arranged my office. Today I am re-filing everything. What fun?

Stopped and had a bowl of grapes for a snack and need to make some file folder labels.

Hope everyone is having a productive day!

Hello!!

I'm in on the team challenge. Anything to get people to be accountable.

My new countertops are being installed today. I am so excited. I will post pics when they are done.

I'm in on the team challenge!

Last week was rough dealing with tornado recovery. I didn't get to the gym, although I did get a lot of moving around that I don't usually do. I don't have a pedometer so no idea of how much I walked, but a lot. I also didn't eat the best. However, I still lost! Feeling good about that.

sherry - you WILL find someone. I did when I weighed a lot more than I do now!

I'm on a crazy schedule - feeding newborn puppies round the clock. Every 3 hours. So, like a new momma, sleep when they sleep. The little girl pup has an infected eye, so now I am doing hot compresses and draining the pus every three hours on top of it! But, they are super cute dapple dachshund puppies and I'm smitten!

Denise, how is your sister?

Goldie Cat, I was always picked last, too. Wanna be on my team?

afternoon,

I slept till 1 then up, did get up a few times, I got a text from niece my sister was in recovery they did go ahead with the angiogram and found an embolism,,,waiting for further info......hrt surgery is suppose to be tomorrow or Wed they decided to go ahead even though she still has infection, surgery risks far outweigh the risks of the infection
I still feel like this is just not real...weird......also I must credit my job training in helping me cope and compartmentalize it

I wieghed in and am the same !!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhh but I am thrilled to hold in this situation

Anne

Donna, be right over - sounds much better than what I am fixing. I have a project to work on so the family is getting burgers and chips. uh-oh....

Laurie, hope you get situated and get some rest.

Anne, you are loved and Denise may have to arm wrestle me for you, lol!

Sherry - new countertops, so jealous!

Cathy - cleanup sounds brutal - what a huge heart you have to foster those sweet pups, hope the little girl's eye gets well soon.

Off to work on my project...

Greetings!

Finally made it to Boston, wish I was back in Vegas! Last week was a tough one for me too but onwards and upwards (at least I didn't gain anything back). Haven't decided what to eat for dinner yet - this is going to be tough as I'm in a proper hotel this time, no kitchen. I'm in for the team challenge, should be fun and Anne is my first pick!

Laurie - root canal, ouch! Hope it goes well.

Denise - welcome back and hang in there. We are all pulling for your sister.

Off to the fitness center for me.

Evening teamies,

I had a really bad day I found out a dentist broke a file off in my root canal. ,then the root canal specialist removed it from that canal and it ended up in the other canal an inch deeper. He has never seen anything like it in 23 years. Now I remember when I first got the tooth done it felt like something was inbetween my teeth that needed to come out. I spent a 1000.00 for this and if he can,t get out I,ll need to have oral surgery so could I have some prayers for best possible outcome. I go back to dentist in 2 weeks. Aaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!

I,m always picked last too other than once in H.S. I got picked for a soccer team first she said I,ll take the girl with the tan legs that was me and I never forgot it. Even at volleyball this weekend I was playing really well had a couple of bad hits and this girl next to me gets bent out of shape life is too short.

I was thimking it might bring us closer together in that we might not do it for ourselve but we would do it for our team. In the end though we have to do it for ourselve but if along the way we can make it easier why not. I never ever thought we,d choose but just randomly pick. Count off or how we finish on weight % one from top of list then one from bottom of list till we have teams divided. If we are going to lose you Anne or any other participating member I would rather not. I love my sassies and you are picked for my life team. Laurie

You know what guys?..... together we all make an already great team !

We could as a total team for four weeks pick a not too way out there weight loss number example

Together we all do our darndest and aim to shed and kick to the curb some pounds, = loose 30 lbs in 30 days as a group and push each other as we do now to be the best we can.
Just an idea.

My totals for the week are
406 mins
200 calf raises
150 step ups
0 tri cep
0 push ups
21.56 miles

overall I feel good...........
