Hey all, i'm still trying to figure out how to manuever on Fat Secret, but this is Karen from Cleveland, Ohio, 45, down to 214 and darn proud!!! Started this journey at 276 so mama is rockin and rolling!!! Stay positive, start each day a new and take it one day at a time. The huge difference in getting my weight off has been eating clean!

Afternoon all!

Is today really a rest day? I think I really need it, I'm soooo sore. Did an arm workout at the gym yesterday and oh my, I can barely lift them today.
I have 6 miles in already between running and the stationary bike. Should get in another 1.5 mile run tomorrow. Its a balmy 2C where I'm at now - hopefully the sun will come out later and I'll venture out for a walk.

Hope all had a great day!

Mine started off awesome, well on track with f/v and did 5.1 miles on stationary bike in 32 min. Then I rushed off to the eye doc to get bifocals (yuck).

Turns out it looks like I have glaucoma. I'm only 46!!!! What the heck???

So, I made an old comfort food (especially since we are due to have 1-4" of snow here in GA) - Seafood Chowder with garlic toast. But I tried to improve it. I used a base of healthy choice new england clam chowder that was lower in fat and lower in sodium. I upped the seafood to really get the protein. I did put the cream cheese in (which is what makes it so rich). And I had one piece of whole wheat garlic toast. Limited the amount of soup. So, I feel a bit bad about go so far of my food plan for the day, but glad that I kept it under control.

I've always been a stress eater. This is going to be my biggest challenge.

F/V - 6
miles - 5.1
step ups that didn't get done yesterday - 50 per leg

Good evening everyone,

Hi Karen!!! Glad you found us. How is everything?

It has been hectic today since boss is leaving to go out of town this weekend.

Food has been good so far today calorie wise and I have tried to control the salt a little better with the exception of that San Antonio Sushi roll I had for lunch. I have already had six servings of fruit today but am still planning on adding a healthy salad with my southwest ancho oven "fried" chicken tonight.

Exercise this week has been the last thing on my mind and that has to change. With dinner started I forced myself to go for a one mile walk on the treadmill. First time making it in 21 minutes!!! Proud of myself. Very Happy I know we all need to work at our own pace and I happy with the progress I have made since this time last year.

Well need to go check on the food in the oven. Chat with you all later!

I dont plan on doing any exercise today. My back is still hurting. Strained feeling. Maybe I should stretch, but when I start to it spasms Sad

I still have 30% of my calories left. I'll probably snack on some broccoli slaw I made with greek yogurt and drink some tea.

Hope to get going good tomorrow.
