Morning everyone

Had to get my rear in gear early today since I have an audit starting today. Completed 100 steps and don't know if I will be able to manage much more today but still plan at least 30 minutes on the treadmill after work.

Meals for today not planned (eek!) Breakfast was veggie omelet and and apple.

Got to get after things, check in with ya later

Sarah-Beth posted this last night.

Hi all,
I was just wondering something.. where do we log how many miles we have done? On the exercise diary it lets u log time but not distance? Are we supposed to just write here how many we have done?

Morning all!

I am getting ready to leave for New Orleans. I will be in the car for 5 hours. I'm going to do some step-ups before I leave and then will use the curb by our Hotel to do more. I see lots of staring people in my future. Haha! It's ok...I won't know them anyway and my friends already know I'm crazy, so they won't care. They'll just get a daquiri and laugh at me.

I had a smoothie with blueberries for breakfast and am taking some apple slices, grapes, raisins and walnuts with me. I will check in tonight if I can get the chance. I'll be back on Monday. I am taking a notebook to log everything while I am gone and will update you when I get home.

I will miss you my dear friends!

I hope everyone is making their day just fabulous!

I wasn't feeling the best (had to take a sleeping pill last night which left me super groggy), so after I took my son to the bus stop, I went back to bed till 11:00!

Since I skipped breakfast, I splurged on lunch!

Lunch - BLT (heavy on tomato & lettuce) with a salad and local cheese
Snack - juice - tomato, cucumber, lemon
Dinner - salad (lettuce, carrots, edamame) and an egg sandwich

I LOVE smoothies! Strongly recommend them. With non-fat greek yogurt, lots of frozen fruit and a touch of apple juice, it is like having dessert for breakfast. I go really heavy on the fruit and half a cup of yogurt. yummmmmmm

Heading to the gym in a few minutes to put in 40 minutes on the treadmill. When I did it Monday, I did 2.1 miles. Aiming to pass that today! Trying to find something IN the house to do step ups on - miserable rain here in Georgia for the past 3 days.

So Sarah Beth sorry for filling up your inbox, I sent you a message also.

Cathy yummm that smoothie sounds good, need to try that.

Sherry & Laurie - I could go either way - daquiri or mojito Evil or Very Mad

Donna - Don't get lost in the back room.

Denise - Guess you might be at work, Cheers!

Anne - How are things going today?

This audit should be a piece of cake, it's the one that starts on the 28th that will be taxing. (no pun intended)

Where are all the other teamies?

Later,

Pam

Anne I would think 30 mins on it should = at least 1 mile
cause I do 50 to 65 mins on tm = 2.7 (depending how fast I walk)
wishing good vibes your way for mom. Smile

Happy Wednesday!

Sherry - enjoy that cruise. I'm sure you'll get all your exercise running around the ship

Just had a huge spinach omelette for breakfast and gearing up for my 30min walk/run. Its sooo nice to be in the sunshine today! I've been going up and down stairs all morning - does that count for step ups??

As far as the rest of the day, I plan on going back to the gym tonight but I have no idea what dinner is going to be. Maybe chicken or some leftover fish?

Cheers

Record day for me on the treadmill - 40 minutes and I jogged without a break for 3 min 30 secs! Like you, Denise, I kept imagining Jillian screaming at me. LOL
But the second time I jogged, I got dizzy after about a minute, so I backed off to just the fast walking for the rest for a total of 2.24 miles. That is just under an 18 minute mile.

Denise, I have had hubby do my ellip, he does get a bit farther than me, but not much. I think I am just really slow. Yesterday I really pushed myself to go faster, that's the only reason I did as much as I did. His ellip at work says he get like 3miles and at home not that much. Dunno. I am working on being faster. I can't walk very fast either. Ive always been more strength that speed. Until I got old and fat, lol.

I need more fruit, but I did get 100 step ups. Going out for a walk now Smile

Denise, I so know how you feel with the dumb snow machine! But I bet you'll be able to bench press 45kg when spring rolls around Smile

Step ups - done (up and down stairs 11 times should be 110 step ups!)
Run/Walk - done 1.8 miles 30 minutes
Gym workout coming up

Anne
speed is not always the best answer, it is time and endurance and length and never giving up that is the key, so walk or elip as much as you can fast or slow matters not, what matters is you do it. Good job ! keep going I am with ya. Cheers Denise

thanks Pam all my posts showed up yeh..........
