I used to always skip breakfast, and if I didnt it would be a quick swing by Mc Donalds (500 calories + without even trying). But since I started fatsecret back up and started this challenge, I have started eating 2 or 3 large eggs + 1 8oz glass of skim milk for breakfast (I like Skim milk, I say drink whatever milk you like, 1% 2% and whole are all good for you too, just cost more calories).

Ok I am not one to brag about how healthy I eat, I am awful about eating fruits and veggies (going to work on that), but from what I've been reading about eggs lately ... eggs Rock!

1. Eat the whole egg, dont ditch the yolk!

Check out this link
http://www.cholesterol-and-health.com/Egg_Yolk.html

As you can see, if you ditch the yolk you miss out on most of the awesome nutrients from the egg! The whole "yolk is bad" thing is a myth.

2. Eggs "help you loose weight"

Check this out
http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/r/weight_loss/weight_loss_tips/eat_eggs.htm

So by eating two eggs for breakfast, you feel fuller when its time to eat again, and eat less! I dont know if its a head thing but it seems to be working for me.

3. Choline

Give this one a quick read.
http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/nutrition/a/choline.htm

Choline is important, and Eggs are crammed full with choline (if you eat the Yolk that is, if not there is 0 choline)

There is a Chart on this page that shows how much Choline we need (about 500 mg), and one egg has about 115 mg.

Thanks for joining the challenge! Feel free to post any tips or recommendations, and good luck to everyone!
