Guidelines:
Budgeting your calories is hard, so budget a reward for the end of the day, such as a small piece of chocolate. Having a chocolate bite to look forward to every day will help stop the guilty sneaking and blowing your diet. With the chocolate or other small treat and hitting your negative net cal goal daily will feel great!

Good luck! I'm hoping to be in the best shape of my life by 50. I have 3 years to get there, so maybe I can accomplish it. I hope you get where you want to be.

I need motivation
Portion control is hard. Have you tried using dessert plates rather than dinner plates? I do that sometimes, when I know I'm likely to overeat.
