Just today I joined fatsecret and signed up for this challenge. I hope to hear from some members of the group so we can form a real support group. I'm a single walker with no one to push me....so come on...I need some buddies to chat with.

If you like, you can add me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/jacqueline.derrick . Just make sure that you send "Fat Secret" along with your friend request. I have made a new post in the forums about encouraging one another. Oh! How I hope I stay committed, Wink . I wish you the best.

So far I've been hitting the 30 minutes every night. There's a farmers market near my house that's only open on Wednesdays. I found that if I walk there I can also find lose change once in a while. I think if I save the change that by the end of the summer I can afford an ice cream cone as my reward (or maybe I should make it frozen yogurt)!

So I don't know about you all but the last 3 days it's been 90 degrees in Pennsylvania. That's really hot for around here. And it's humid. Not much walking in this weather and there's really not a place where I like to swim. All the public pools and lake beaches are really crowded. I hate the thought of walking on the treadmill in the summer when I should be outside, but I guess it will have to do. Any other good ideas for exercise when it's hot and sticky outside?
