How does everyone think that they are doing?

I think that I am doing well. I have been putting forth a ton of effort, really tracking and trying to get my excersise in. How about you?

I had a bad week, and I still lost. I'm still ahead of where I need to be to complete this challenge!

Had a horrible night last night insomnia + that little guilty voice in the back of my head telling me that I had eaten too much junk all week. And it was right! But it was wrong where it counted. I didn't gain... I really didn't lose much either but a loss is still DOWN! Smile

Down from 60" waist jeans since June 21st 2012.

Still keeping to my 26" jeans, but they are too tight for comfort. too many tasty things in the US, and over Xmas.

I'm definitely needing a kick in the pants. I'm doing okay, but need to be doing better. Instead of maintaining I need to be losing. I am doing longer workouts starting this week so I know that will help, but I need to find more will power to resist some foods or to stop at one serving instead of over-doing it. It's a new week and I'm going to try my best to get on the right track.
Goals for 2014:
Complete Couch to 5K- DONE!!!
Sign up for and complete a 5K- DONE!! 35 mins.
Plan at least 3 outings with the family that involve being active- 2 done

I had a rough week this week, because I got pretty sick. I only lost 1.2 pounds. I was hoping for a little better, but a loss is still a loss. I am on spring break right now and being home makes it hard to lose weight easily. I can't wait to go back to work, so that I am on my regimen.

1.2lb is still nearly 1%. There is nothing wrong with that.

I had a week off yesterday and have to agree it makes losing weight hard. I can only suggest getting out and doing stuff rather than vegetating at home. But even that's a pain when you are sick (which I also was last week).

I have been getting out and doing something everyday. Yesterday, I bundled up and went to the zoo. Today I am going to walk/run a 5K while my son rides his bike. Just little things that add up. It is about 3.2 miles from my house to the nature center and back, so it will get me exercise and Johnathon exercise as well. Plus he gets to ride his new bike.

Thanks! I didn't get to the walk today because of everything that decided to happen, but it is in the plans for tomorrow. My son is excited because he will get to ride his new bike on the bike path.

It went great. My son rode like a champ. I walked it in 45 minutes. I need to up my time, but that means getting people to watch my son while I try to train. My sister helped me out today. I was able to get out for a ride, but the weather was not that great, so I only got in 11 miles. There was wind gusts of over 25 miles an hour and it was pushing me and bike around the trail. I couldn't keep going.

Well I'm not going to pretend I'm happy about this week's weigh in. But I'm not overly surprised.

I spent the weekend helping with the cricket clubs big spring clean. And today I ache ridiculously.

I'm glad you and your little fella had a good time. Take care and have a good week.

Doing well! Down another 1.5 lbs, and I weigh in again on Sat! (2X a week) I'm already past my April Goal, 215 by the 20th, so now it's 210 by the 20th!(Then I have a goal for March *200 by the 20th!* and one for June!*190 by the 20th!*) My other goal is to fit into a pair of size 14 jeans without brusing my liver or something! Smile (but I think that won't be for another month... -sigh-)

Awesome Mikaracat! I am down from 178.2 to 176.2 in two days! Crazy weight loss... I got back on track, cut the sweets out again and I am feeling a little better. I also got into my new size 14 jeans yesterday! Feels great!

Well done both of you. I wish I were as dedicated. I've hit one of those lows where I can't be bothered. While I usually force myself to carry on it's coincided with preplanned events. So rather than push through it I've had to go out to meals that I can't control as well. Which leads to lower losses (in fact this week I expect I'll be lucky just to maintain) which depress me even more.

But today is a new day.

I am hitting a plateau right now. I am bouncing between two weights. This is where it gets hard and I need to get my butt to the gym and knock this plateau out of the way. Feeling discouraged though. Very tough to not lose for 2 weeks, especially when I am so calorie restricted. I need to change something, so I think that adding the gym is number one and that will help.

Well I seem to have lost what I had gained last week (almost according to my sneaky weigh-in yesterday) and I've managed to avoid eating out all week (though tomorrow will be "fun"Wink. Will TRY and keep self in check with the DimSum tomorrow lunchtime, and if I do a roast dinner on Sunday I can keep that in check too.

I am coming back down again, slowly but surely. I am having a great time doing this challenge though. I am trying hard and I am having a great time buying some new dresses for the summer.
