Week 2

WEEK #2 - swing on a swingset

Guidelines:
ok, so maybe there isn't a playground terribly close by, but the idea is to do something that you used to do for HOURS on end as a kid, that we somehow think we don't deserve to make time to do and enjoy any more. Swing on a swingset. Skip down the driveway to the mailbox and back. Jump rope. Ride your bike no-handed. Climb a tree. Lay on the grass and decide what that cloud looks like.

Week 5

WEEK #5 - nothin' but net, baby!

Guidelines:
Sinking a free-throw in basketball that doesn't touch the rim is known as "nothin' but net, baby". It's that sweet swoosh sound. What is your oooh baby sweet oh yeah thing? Maybe it's getting the sink cleaned out and the dinner mess put away in record time? Or having your home-office desk cleaned off so that you can (gasp) see the horizon surface instead of the piles of paper. Whatever it is, allow yourself to revel in the satisfaction of doing that something well.

Week 5

WEEK #6 - bad math

Guidelines:
Pick one thing in your life that, if you got rid of it, would be beneficial to you by more than "one". For example, getting debt under control not only frees up your bank account but it relieves the constant worry and stress of having debt woes. So "minus one" is actually a several-fold advantage to yourself. Pick something that you've procrastinated about eliminating from your life that you know in your heart-of-hearts is just not healthy for you to hang onto, and make a concrete plan and promise to yourself to get rid of it!
