Good Morning Sista's.....

Dear God...Thank You for keeping Laurie safe.
God I also ask of you to give her inner strength to see who she is and her beauty.....which comes from inside!
AMEN

My final weigh in this am was the same.....132 lbs.
I lost about 1lb per week, which is GREAT & AVERAGE. I will take it...I also lost a little over 2" in my waist, which is AWESOME!!! I am down a total of 9lbs since I stated this new journey of my life 8 weeks ago. I am extremely happy with my results!!! I still need to tweek my diet some, as I know I am taking in to many carbs. Hopefully I will get together with my dietician friend this week, (she has had a serious change brought upon her unexpectedly which has been consuming her time), and she can help me change up my activity board and fuel intake, to spark another change in my metabolism, which will increase my weigh loss.

I wish all of you a MARVELOUS MONDAY Razz

Morning teamies,

Today is weigh in day. All good things must come to an end. Never fear change is good. I will post Biggest Loser tommorrow I know some sistas who have stayed very focused and have inspired us to do better. Thank you Pam for being the techy who kept the wheels turning even while working, and having a family. I appreciate u. Sherri thankyou for keeping team totals. I am so grateful for a break. Cathy thanks for stepping up and being a captain when you were a newbie. Donna and Denise, weve been together for at least a year and I love that one of us will always step up, as usual job well done. I think the thing that is best about this challenge is when everyone shares not only their totals but their truth and honest feelings and experiences. Whining and shining is truth! April 1st we will start our hometown walkabout

. Please post your name, hometown, and state if you wish to be in Aprils challenge, Thanks sistas, Laurie. I,m here, no worries!!

Glorious day to all!!

I maintained this week which I'm okay with. I got in very few workouts because of new job, but I sat down and got ahead this weekend on things like planning meals, planning clothes. So, I will do better this week.

Good news is I am wearing a blouse that I bought on sale three years ago because I was going to lose weight and fit into it. Guess what? I fit into it beautifully!!! A total of 19 pounds list since 1/14 got me into it. Also, I threw away a pair of slacks that literally kept sliding off my hips.

Yesterday, I did some reading on sodium intake. For anyone over 51, anyone with high blood pressure, African Americans, and anyone with kidney disorders, the RDA of sodium is only 1,500 mg. There were some days I struggled to get under 3,000!!! So, my goal for this week is 2,500 and then next week 2,000. Anyone want to join me?

Cathy

Good morning ladies! Was watching the news this morning...hope you are all safe in this crazy weather. Here it is going to be 72 today.
Maintained this week, which I'm comfortable with considering I had a few bad days of food.

Laurie-you are the best; strong & beautiful.

Cathy-congratulations on that blouse! I've just ordered 3 pair of new pants in a smaller size than I'm used to because the same pants that I have now are getting awfully baggy...I love it! My doc tells me 2500 max & I can usually match that; I've been watching sodium for years.

Laurie-I have coffee!! And I'm ready for new challenge.

Hello my friends!

Denise, It's a beautiful day and I am smiling!

Sandra, I am agreeing with you in prayer.

Laurie, I sent you a message. Love you!!

Cathy, Nine pounds is awesome! You are doing great!

Kat, I need more coffee!

I gained a pound this week, but am not surprised after having Taylor all week. It's hard to diet with a 7 year old. I want to say thanks to all that participated in the challenge for staying strong and being accountable. A special thanks to Pam and Laurie and the team captains. I am excited about visiting each city and can't wait for 4/1.

Our final totals for this challenge:

Team Jillian: 22/161/648
Team Bob: 12/144/613
Team Dolvett: 13/81/417

My hometown is Birmingham, Alabama

Have a great day everyone!

I have not gotten on the scale as of yet, was up super early because hubby needed to leave earlier than normal. Will hit the scale when I get home. Praying I end up where I started and not more.

I have gotten lost some where along the way so for the old lady's sake please explain the hometown challenge again and how it works......

Yes, Donna it is time to spring into action. Finally for a week I have had a small loss as small as it is, it is a loss!!!

Cathy - sodium is my down fall and I struggle daily to stay under 3,000

Food and water good, exercise and sodium check left to go.

Later,

Pam

Evening Check In.....

Talk about creature of habit.....
It only takes 24 days to start one.....
And I am addicted to this "GREAT GROUP OF SASSIES"!!!
I will continue to check in here 2-3 times a day, until we start our next challenge Very Happy

I have a date with my friend the dietician, on Saturday, to rewrite my diet and exercise regimen, so I am sure I will be ready to step up my walking activity, and start stepping to some great cities in this beautiful country we live in.

Talking about spring being here...it has snowed on and off all day in Georgia! Sheesh.....but on a positive note I didn't lose any weight this week BUT I lost an inch on my waist hips and thighs and I am down another pant size!

A little over a year and I have gone from a 16 to an 8!!!! Reminder not to let the scale get you down, if you are still working towards your goal and the scales not moving, your body is still doing its thing!

Thank you to everyone on here, I know I am not always the most talkative, but you are all wonderful and I enjoyed reading all your updates! Looking forward to next month's challenge, going to work ever harder!

Ending on a Hi-Note! Hi-Five for Team Bob!

1) Tracking - Yes
2) H2O - Yes
3) Cardio - Yes
(7,740 Steps, 3.23 Miles, 7 Flights of Stairs)
4) Sodium - Yes
5) F&V's - Yes
