Well ladies I lost 4.4 lbs. this week and I feel so good. I feel like I am making progress and I am on the right track. I have decided to have one vegetarian day a week until I run out of ideas. I hope you all have a great relaxing Saturday. I have been to the gym now I am of to an interview then some retail therapy. TTYL Smile

Morning, Chanda congrats on your loss.............good job. I asked her to edit the title and add in todays date, I find it easier to find the daily post if the date is used, then there are no mistakes which one to post to. Smile

beautiful day today. Need to stock up on F & V . Lunch with sis and a walk today is my plan.

Sherry your granddaughter is very smart....This is a great group of ladies. Smile

Morning Sassies, A quick check in before heading out to get my photo taken along with the rest of my chapter for our SRD (Convention) poster. I'll see if someone will take my photo with my phone in my poodle skirt and white shirt.

Enjoying a Saturday off since it's my birthday and I plan on not doing much after we get home from visiting with my elderly uncle. I haven't seen him in a while and my mom just saw him on Wednesday evening of this last week.

Didnt sleep so good last night. Woke up really hungery, so I made some whole wheat pasta, and put a tomato sauce over it with green pepper, mushrooms, zuke, and onion. I feel more ready to face the day. Off to get ready for work.

Hello Sassies!!

My granddaughter has gone to visit her cousins and I am cleaning and doing laundry while she is gone. She is staying with me again tonight. Her dad has to repair the fence that was damaged by the storms on Monday. After not having her for 4 months, it has been such a blessing to have her this whole week. We stayed 2 nights with my sister and she has stayed 2 nights with my other son's family, so everyone could share the love. Wink

Pam, If you are getting up at 4ish, no wonder you are falling asleep early in the evening. Your body is tired from the days work. Is this schedule different than what you were on previously?

Denise, Is you son feeling better today? I hope you are having a great lunch with your sister. How is she doing?

Chanda, I said a prayer for the job for you. Do you know anything yet?

Sarah, Happy, Happy Birthday!! Sounds like you have a full day planned. I hope someone takes a pic of you in the poodle skirt. Have fun!! Smile

Thanks for all the feedback. Most important we all like being accountable and support. Starting new challenge on Mon. 1st sounds great. So u jave one week where you have to do it for yourself but u can still be accountable on here till. We open new thread. Congrats chanda and a meatless day is always a good idea. Sherry share the love.

I think I'm off for some retail therapy too (as long as it fits in the suitcase, ha ha) My scale hasn't moved but I've just noticed my standby jeans are falling off my butt - that must be a good sign right??

Our power came back on before midnight last night,
but I wouldn't know...I was fast asleep by 10pm.
I have always been an early to bed, early to rise girl.
You know the saying.......
THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM.........
Ok...in this case...the BEST WORKOUT!!!
The hubby & I got in a nice 1 hour bicycle ride this am.
CARDIO is a MUST @ least 6 days a week!!!
IF YOU REST.......YOU RUST!!!!!
Not to mention, you don't burn enough calories to keep a deficit.......
NO DEFICIT = WEIGHT GAIN!!!!!!!


There is more rain/ thunderstorms in our forecast for tonight and tomorrow. We are hoping tonight's rain is just a nice pitter patter on our roof...it makes us sleep like babies Smile That is one benefit to living in an rv, our heads are about 2 feet from our bedroom slide roof, and the sound of rain is sooo soothing!



Sherry...I am sooo happy for you that you have been able to have so much quality time with your Granddaughter. Time with them is PRICELESS & PRECIOUS!!!!!
Enjoy, and next time you give her a hug, hug her once for me, One can never get enough HUGS & LOVE <3

Thanks for the Birthday Wishes Sassies. Well I'll have to wait until Monday to get the picture since we had to cancel today due to the rain and the guy who owns the car didn't want to bring it out in the rain.

Afternoon,

Lunch was nice......had to nap , called in for nights. So no walk for me, I knew I should have done it in the morning as I always do then it is done and don't have to worry about it, I did not think I was going to get called in, I should know better by now. Smile

stocked up on fruits & veggies , good to go for the week.
Laurie I pass you the baton, hold for me till I tag you again......

Ok I looked up tennis with no luck so far, so I guess I won't be trying it in the near future, will have to wait till snow is gone and then see if they advertise for any.......I will try a game this summer , that is one of my goals, thank you Laurie for the idea. I love hearing about your matches.....

Laurie - Congrats on Tennis Match

Doing ok with the ankle, just wish I didn't need the aspirin as much... Still hurts see him again in 10 days...

So.... 3 / 5 for me... No cardio and veggies and fruit were no..

Going out with friends so will not over eat nor will I drink (I drink water at the Bar)... So have a Happy Night All.

TTY Tomorrow... Anniversary tomorrow, may not get the sodium tomorrow.. since we will go Italian... ooh la la ... Can already taste it.... Chicken Marsala is calling my name.....

Yea Laurie - I was an early sassy this morning - five miles on the stationary bike.

The rest of the day has been pretty lazy, watching movies and a quick trip to the store for fruits and veggies. Dinner is in the oven.

Thank you to our team captains for keeping up for us this month. It is quite the chore and is much appreciated.

I have 4/5 out five for today so far. If I stay with the meal plan for the rest of the day it will be 5/5.

Hello Sistas!

Denise – I LOVE when my tops of my thighs hurt like that. I know I’ve done a lot and it reminds me all day long how strong I am!

Laurie – love ideas floated of walking from town to town and if we do teams, let’s have two teams and split the main contributors between the two teams. Would be lots of fun to learn about the towns!

Susan – fingers crossed for hubby’s job and please get well!

Sherry – I am so happy for you!!!! I know having your granddaughter has seriously boosted your mood. 

Pam – you work so hard! Sometimes the body just needs to rest.

Donna – I had a good weight loss month, but I definitely didn’t get in the workouts I wanted. Are you up to doing some chair boxing with me for the next couple of weeks? I will commit to 20 min per day of chair
boxing if you will. 

Sunshiney Sandra – I adore having you here! Even on days you don’t post, I think about Ms. Sunshine!

Kat – yeah for biking!!!

Chanda – so glad you will be jumping in again!! I have enjoyed getting to know you. Holy Canolli – 4.4 lbs!!!!

Sarah – you are my inspiration – seeing you hold at your goal weight makes me believe! And Mucho happiness on this birthday and every other day!

Renee –I think I’d have the exact same panic. I know I felt it the other day when my new co-workers invited me out for lunch – and that is MUCH less.

Goldie – that sounds so yummy!!

Give me a high 5 today.

I slept for 11 hours last night and finally feel I'm catching up. Tomorrow, I'm going to spend the day helping out my mom while Sherrie drives to Alabama to pick her mom up and bring her back to us for two weeks.

I'm looking forward to getting in a routine with work and eating and exercise. I made do this past week, but I don't have a routine yet. I'll get there.

Quick hello-
Happy Birthday Sarah.

Wish I could breathe. Sinus headaches are no fun! Already went thru a box of Kleenex. I have one point today Water only. No smell or taste really makes for no appetite. Hope to feel better tomorrow as I have things to do before we leave!

Denise hope your night goes fast!

Sherry time with your grandchild is awesome! Even tho I have 4 year old twins I know that having a grandchild would be so different. My daughter assured me last night nooooooooooooo babies for quite awhile. Ha. She is 25 so she has many more years!

Good Evening Sassies .....

Today was another great day here in Tampa Smile

The Hubby & I had a great bicycle ride together....
As usual Razz 13 miles of pure PEDDLE PUSHING PLEASURE!!!
We had a serious head wind to fight most of our ride, but that just makes our legs stronger Very Happy


I sooo went over my calorie average for the last few weeks, Way to much FAT, and not nearly enough PROTIEN!
I am the one who made those choices!!! Bad Grin

I some how seemed to make the daily challenge requirements though Shock

5 for me today

1)Track=Y
2)Cardio=Y ...plus 9259 steps
3)H2o=Y
4)Sodium=Y
5)Fruits & Veggies=Y
