Good Morning All....Bad Grin

Coffe is on.. Hate when you loose the hour... Yikes.. feels like I just went to bed... Guess I need so more sleep.

Not cooking today, as I can't taste anything.. LOL..

Reinjjured the ankle last night someone stepped on my toes and then hit it twice on a metal chair.. soaking it right now... It's what woke me up this morning, just a thobbing.. Oh well.. Hope it will feel better soon, took some aspirin, just need to start Icing along with the soak..

Laurie - Sounds like you are back to your normal busy self.

Sherry - Hope you had fun at the comedy club, what a unique relationship with the "X", sounds like you mutually agree.. what a concept..

So what's everyones plan for today?

Today's plan is as hubby finished attic , to assist him in moving stuff (as we go thru it) up and organize the space.....
We will have our basement space back soon...
No planned workout, maybe a walk later, it will be cleaning and housechore steps today.

Snowy here in NE and super windy. Yuck. Toe is still not good. Guess it will take 3-6 weeks recovery. 2 weeks til vacation!!!

Morning teamies,

Made whole wheat blueberry pancakes with maple syrup agave nectar. Added flax and greek yogurt. Filling!
Blueberry - Yogurt Pancakes

1/2 cup Blueberries
1/2 cup Yogurt
1 cup Milk
1 Egg
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
Directions

Sift dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk and yogurt together then add to dry ingredients. Stir until just combined then fold in blueberries. Fry pancakes on a hot greased griddle, turning once. Makes 10 pancakes. I would just top with fresh. Blueberries. Nutrition info on WWW.bobsredmill.COM 80 cals a pancake 2g fiber 3g protein and I think 140sodium. Tennis and its beautiful, coffee please, Laurie

I've spent the morning watching my dogs play and checking my regular web-sites. I still have to watch and make sure this puppy gets outside enough. Seems like it is taking a long time to house train her. If I get her outside she is good, but if I miss her schedule she wont tell me, lol.

Got half my daily water down and off to make some fresh coffee now Smile

Hello Everyone!

I can't believe it is afternoon already. I will have to get used to this time change, but I love having more time in the afternoon.

Last night was so much fun. I laughed so hard I was crying. Good times with friends, making great memories.

Donna - Your ankle sounds bad. You may have to go to the doctor and have it checked out. Sad

Denise - I laughed at the thought of you and your niece sitting on the floor learning to tie shoes. How lucky she is to have you in her life! Laughing

Anne - I bet your hair looks great. I also colored mine yesterday. My gray was showing. LOL!!

Sarah - Thanks for sharing the body building web site. I may try it.

Afternoon everyone,

Sorry been MIA, just in a funky place but dealing with it. I slept in until 11:00 yesterday which is so not like me. Got coffee, shower and went shopping with my daughter. We made a day of it which was nice, got home around 8:00, watched a movie and off to bed. Who knows, I might still be sleeping if my father-in-law hadn't called at 10:00.

I picked up some squash and cucumbers to plant and then realized when i got home that I didn't have enough extra garden soil, ugh!

Better get moving since I didn't get any cleaning done yesterday! Have a great evening!

I am BACK in the HOUSE! LOL

Sherry - I have the same numbers as you. However, I may need help counting for Tues-Thurs while I'm at the hospital with my mom (she is having a total knee replacement). For some reason, I can't reach page 2 on my iPhone if we get that far on the day's topic.

Our fundraiser went great last night. I crawled into bed around 10:30. I tried to post my two measly points, but for some reason it didn't appear.

DO NOT FEAR, Dolvies! I know we are small but we ARE making a difference in our lives.

I am a HIGH 5 for today. I also got in 12.6 miles this week.

Laurie, I've added a pedometer to my list of stuff to do tomorrow.

I'm trying to plan for the hospital. I've got Atkins bars, apples, bananas, carrots, celery. They also feed the "coaches" of the patient. When we ate there during the pre-op class, they had really good steamed veggies, so I'm hoping I'll be able to stay on track. I've really got to watch it and not fall into the fast-food trap.

I also have my 30 Day Shred written down and I'll be doing it in my mom's hospital room (modified- I won't be doing floor work in a hospital. LOL) And, there is a decent place to walk, so I'll try to sneak out for a couple of miles a day.

Hope this go well with your mom's surgery. Living at the hospital is not very fun, at least you only have a few days Smile

Really tired today and fighting a headache. I may or may not get in my cardio/steps. I hope I do. I will update later.

Cathy, take care of your mom and yourself and don't worry about the numbers. I will be happy to help you. You have done great prep work for eating and exercise and now you can just focus on your mom.

Evening teamies,

Beautiful day here. I never make pancakes but they were so easy and tasty and cheap since I already have ingredients. I,m so broke this week. I,m eating whatever is in my house. Tonight had chicken thighs, broccoli salad and organic barley. Going to make Barefoot contessa,s lentil soup if I can find recipe. Cathy good plan for your mom,s stay.

High five for me.

I had 3 points today! No veggies in the house. Ugh

I had 13 miles this week. Woot woot. Got on the TM today. Toe was sore but need to move. Can't lose weight without cardio. Miss it!

2 weeks til we go to Hilton Head Island, SC. Can't wait.

Time to get the kids to bed. This time change really screws up bed time]

Today wow.....started at 10 am and worked in attic and basement and back and forth all day till 9:30 pm .....

between moving and lifting and going thru tote after tote and dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, washign and rearanging. It was a perfect productive day....... I sat and looked around and it felt great knowing how clean it is now.....at least for 10 minutes anyway.

High 5 for me today..........

Sunshine is in the house.....

I was with a couple others this am.....
A late rise Shock !!! I never sleep in like that! I guess that day on the motorcycle, and all the laughter with the Brother-In-Law & Robin wore me out.

After some oats to give me some energy, I spent the afternoon catching up on over a weeks worth of laundry Embarassed

Keith & I went out for our favorite.....
Filet Mignon.....Mmmmm
I love that most places have under 500 calorie meals.

Weigh in tomorrow is probably going to say "STEADY"
as I cheated way to much this past week!!!
