My funky sister I am right here with you. Is yours party induced,ha! I have not had a great week cuz I,m in the I don,t care stage agsin. I have been coasting since January truth be known and even before that. Why do I do this to myself mentally. Good news made my house payment and I,m maintsining. I want to go to the next stage but I,m not willing to fine tune my eating what is that about. I walk and play tennis to the extreme. I ate 4 skinny cow bars last nite with my son. Justified with my son which is ridiculous. I watched Blc finally and it had an aha moment for me. Jillian told Danni not to base her well being on exterior forces. I,ve tried to do my whole life.....ugh,s official mid life crisis. Coffee, please Laurie

Morning sistas,

Sorry for falling out of touch. Laurie pegged it on the head. Power struggle in the house last couple of days. All in all it has been a good week away from work.

Have had quite a bit of time outside the last few days, sunny and breezy here in my neck of the woods. Thursday, we laid more sod on one of the hills. Gave up after the first pallet and a half. Have let myself get out of climbing shape. Shock

Almost hit my 10,000 steps for that day but fell a little short, fitbit said I climbed six flights of stairs.

Yesterday we attended a "celebration of life" party for our neighbor that we lost a few months back. Since I am a stay in my shell person most of the time, it was a good time to be out and connecting with other people face to face. Smile

Crying or Very sad I have not been good about tracking my food this week and have just enjoyed time off and have to get it together. I did pretty good at the party last night and stayed completely away from all the sweets and had a lot of fruit and veggies. Not knowing how the other foods were prepared makes it difficult to gauge the calories, etc. My favorite was the pork dumplings brought by Ms. Liu (one of the CTE teachers at the school). I limited myself to two of each of the "meat" samples which is good for me.

Here is to a good day of staying on track! Have a great day everyone!

Did good on calories but off on sodium, so 4/5 for me today!!!

Good evening all!!! Today is a lovely day and I am feeling good. I got yet another early start at the gym. I did 35 min. of cardio on the treadmill and I got in two miles. I also took advantage of the water jet massage table. So far I am doing well on my points and I will report the final results later.

Water- YES

Denise last week I did only two days of toning and next week I will do three. The personal trainer that I am working with told me not to do mucsle exercises more than three times a week because I need to get the fat in order and then work on building the muscle. He said that the muscle will build and the weight will increase so do not get into that right now. I do a 30 imn. circut training on MOn. Wed. and Fri. next week. Thanks for asking. Enjoy this beautiful day everyone until later Smile

Susan, Goldie, and Laurie - you guys working through your funk?

Pam- I really struggle to track food sometimes when others cook, plus we eat at a local restaurant where I have to guess too. I've decided that it all averages out in the end and try not to stress.

I feel much more rested and I'm back with my mom. She has had a better day, so great news. She is hoping to go for in the sunshine for a bit tomorrow.

Give me a high five for the day- with tired muscles from hauling 40 lb bags of dog food. LOL- who needs a gym when you have a farm!?!

Thanks to all of you and your warm fuzzies!!! makes me smile.
The job is not confirmed. He has one last interview next week and I hope they decide then. Vacation the following week. Well needed!

Toe still not right and sore. Since I don't even know what exactly happened is making it tough to know when it will be healed. Broke? torn ligament? Who knows. Bums me out!

Have a great evening!
Until later...........cya

Sunshine Sista Here..... It was a beautiful "SUN SHINNY DAY" here in Tampa Florida. I took off on my bicycle for an afternoon adventure. I had a nice 3 hour ride. Nothing to strenuous...just a nice leisure 11mph was a great calorie burn, and a mental refresher.

I am not sure I will see a weight loss on Mondays weigh in, as my carbs were pretty high this week.

hello all

just back in from hockey game and date dinner with hubby

4/5 for me as I cannot tell how much sodium they put into my meal. But portions bang on........

I do not eat chocolate it triggers headaches that usually become migraines for me. well I gave in and had tiramisu which I had on other occasions ,,,,only problem is they drizzled chocolate all over it... I scraped and took off as close to every smidge possible. But obviously I missed some, hubby says don't worry it is not much, I should have gone with my gut instinct................YUP headache, behind right eyebrow, jaw and back of right side of head. It is really starting to bug me.....
I took magnesium under tougne pills - & magnesium large pill then took 3 advil still there so better go to bed before it gets worse....... least I am not throwing up like I used to do, magnesium is my saviour with keeping headache pain down to a functional level.

good night talk tomorrow

good job everyone. Smile

Evening everyone,

I was in a little bit of a funk today too. Don't know why. Weather is beautiful, work is unstressful at the moment. I have started to crave some food I really shouldn't be eating and the bf has kept me on the straight and narrow so I have no idea what's going on. I did read something interesting on my Nerd Fitness site that I thought I would share for those of us that are having a not so great day:

Unfortunately, life has a 100% death rate so do the best you can, with what you have, where you are:

•Eat the best foods you can as often as possible.
•Eat food you love (that's not good for you) occasionally.
•Allow yourself to let loose sometimes.
•Exercise as often as possible, even if it's just for five minutes.
•Work on making better decisions with each new day.
Want to know the best workout plan? It isn't the perfect plan that you never do; it's the 'pretty good' plan that you do consistently.

Relax! It's going to be okay.

And on that note, I again have a high 4 (no veggies) but its all good!

Have a great evening
