Hi everyone. High 4 for me yesterday. I am really struggling with my water intake. And I seriously apologise for my late entries. Busy with funeral plans and all. Exercises are going well. I have been busy exploring some activites in the gym. In addition to my regular gym workout, I've tried 'Body Combat' - hardwork but stretched me from my comfort zone, Aquafit - nice but I underestimated this, muscles still aching but good fun and boxing training - I'm pretending to be enjoying this (rolling eyes), but great fun; we got 'physical' yesterday and I need to be more assertive with my punches Smileotherwise, I may be knocked out for being so 'nice' with my opponent. These are all to make exercise fun for me as I get very bored easily.Go Team Dolvett.

Good Morning Sista's .....

Team Dolvette.....where are you?????
We must get moving.....
If we rest.....We rust Razz

My fit tip of the day is.........
Change our routine daily, like we change our underwearShock
Our muscles have memory, if we do not change things up, they become just as board with our routine as we do!!!

I needed advil more then I needed pilates this am! I had to pretty much crawl to the medicine cabinet! There was "NO" way I was making it to, let alone through an hour of pilates frstthng this am.

It is supposed to be warm, and less windy here it Tampa today. There just might be a bike ride in my afternoon Very Happy

I wish every one a FABULOUS FRIDAY Cool

Team Dolvett,

Right here sunshine. I,ve walked 30 miles this week. HOOT! I,m with Princess I love to make exercise fun or I don,t do it. Boxing sounds like real fun I need one of those man dummies to beat up. I don,t like body combat to hard on my knees. Sparring sounds so much fun. I agree u have to mix it up also crosstrain. I try not to take advil. Only when injured. That,s my body telling me I need to rest, drink or eat.

Princess, strength and courage, your way sista))))))))!

Donna, what colors is hubby wearing is he by a monkey or a witch, lol
Off to see the wizard!! I have a sign in my bedroom Nobody gets in to see the wizard not nobody not no how!

TGIF to all the Sistas!!!!

Team Dolvett - Thursday 15 (196)

I completely agree with Princess and Laurie on mixing up workouts. I am doing 30 Day Shred (day 11 and I can finally make it all the way through Level 1 LOL). I'm fairly limited because of my shoulder, but I'm modifying workouts so that I can maximize calorie burn. In addition to 30 Day, I'm back to doing TM 2x week, stationary bike 2x week and elliptical. And I'm doing interval training on all of those (steady pace for 1 minute, with 30 seconds all out, etc).

I've really only been working out since beginning of January and I'm thrilled with how much improvement I've seen. Once weather gets nicer here, I'm really anxious to get out and garden, something that I LOVE that has been hard for the past couple of years because of my weight and lack of conditioning.

Princess - don't stress about posting numbers - just take care of YOURSELF. And pop in here for love and caring!

Laurie - I have to watch out for my knees too. That is why I only TM 2x a week. I'm hoping that once I get a bit more weight off, my knees will tolerate it better.

Sunshine - good for you for listening to the old body! Somedays, the best training you need to get in is to do NOTHING!

Another interview today then LOTS of work on our big fundraiser tomorrow night for the high school band. UGH I'll be so glad when Saturday midnight rolls around!

Hey All

Laurie, He's just an extra.. LOL... He's a munchkin and he's the one in the Pink Shirt.(Got to love that.. He's always saying that real men can wear Pink.. so funny that they picked that color for him)... Heard he can be spotted 4 times.. Not a lot but kind of fun, that you get to see yourself on the "BIG" screen...

Dwarf awareness is putting on a "Yellow" carpet here in Michigan, so we are going to that one and then an after party to a real nice place.

Denise, I so hope you enjoy your trip to Vegas as I will mine, leave me some to win.. LOL..

Morning people! GO TEAM JILLIAN! Just back in the office after my frist session of physical therapy as opposed to Pilates...I'm lovin this! Pilates is wonderful, pt is stretching strength training followed by accupressure/accupuncture & then massage. nly problem is that after the massage I just want to sleep!

Donna-calf-raises ok

Laurie & Princess-I also crosstrain, walking, Pilates & pt for the moment. Watch your knees & back!

Cathy-good luck on that interview

Denise & Donna-lucky ladies going to Vegas!

Have coffee time to work,

Hey Everyone!!

It's good to be home again. I really enjoyed my time with my sister. She has a form of Parkinson's call Progressive Subnuclear Palsy or PSP and like the name says, it is progressing everyday. We almost lost her in 2011. She was on life support for 2 weeks, but she battled her way back and after spending 2 1/2 months in the hospital, she finally got to come home. She couldn't walk and was confined to her bed or scooter chair and had to have someone with her 24 hours a day. She would get better and then worse again. They didn't know what was wrong with her and her doctor seemed to think it was just in her head and if she tried she could do better. I finally convinced her to come to Birmingham to see a neurologist in Sept of 2012. He was the one that diagnosed her and put her on a Parkinson's medicine and she was able to start walking with a walker and cut her help down to 3 days a week. Now she is so much better and can walk most days without any assistance...other days she uses a cane and she no longer has to have help. I am so hoping that she can continue to get better and we will be able to take a vacation together, like we used to do. She is so much fun!!

Pam - Happy late Anniversary!!

Sarah - Congrats on winning your division!

Donna - Have fun at the premier and after party.

Princess - Hugs to you!

Sandra - Rest then ride...sounds like a great plan.

Laurie - It's warm in my hood today. It's 64!! I shoud get out, but I am being lazy today...

Cathy - What do you say to adding the 4 points that Princess got yesterday to make it 19?

Kat - A massage sounds wonderful!!

Sorry for such a long post. I just felt like sharing. Smile

Sherry - please do add the 4 for Princess - Thursday 19 (200)

Give me a High Four~ LOL Far to crazy of a day to work in any kind of workout. I'm sure I walked more than my fair share, but I don't have a pedometer, so I'm just not giving myself that one.

After tomorrow my live settles down. Woohooo.

Kat yes then I will count em in......

Princess this is your journey , you do what you need to and say hello when you can we will be here. Remember to throw in a few extra glasses of water when feeling overwhelmed with all going on now and then. It seems to help level out our bodies when there is alot going on.
Kinda like a lake when the water levels are calm....... Try it , trust me it really helps.....

ok high 5 for me.

Evening teamies,

I had the most delish dinner lettuce wraps from the recipes. I used shrimp instead of ground turkey. And bean sprouts, made own sauce and stayed under on sodium, hoot. I did walk to red box to rent a video to get in my steps. Denise, I live 20- 25 min from grocery store and it,s a health food one so I,m lucky.

Donna, Love a man in pink, federer had pink tennis shoes for last tourny.
So I,ll be looking for your pretty man in pink!

Sherry, Never apologize for sharing , it,s not sassy, and we are sassy!

Cathy, you can get a pedometer at evil walmart for 5-10bucks. We need that point.

Sunshine, I love your shine.

Speaking of shiny where,s Pam.

Kat, Massage and coffee were soul sisters.

Jessica jane We need u!

Denise, I might need to check my 30 miles. It was on fitbit maybe diff start date. I know I,ve walked alot but when u pointed out how many days left . I,ll recheck way over 10.

Susan, Healing your way.

Princess, thanks so much for helping, Dolvett!

Time for wine, Laurie
