Here are a few motivational sayings to start off the day!

David Viscott: You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.

Ralph Marston: Your goals, minus your doubts, equal your reality.

Goethe: Take care of your body with steadfast fidelity. The soul must see through these eyes alone, and if they are dim, the whole world is clouded.

Team Dolvett for Saturday : 12 pts (I took one off for me because I went over calories and over sodium because I snacked with my drinks last night)

Total for Dolvett: 117

Morning teamies,

Last night when I was down I meditated and this is the answer I got from a book I love. Others belief in you is important but only to remind you to believe in yourself, for others beliefs mean nothing unless you believe.
So believe in your passion.
Believe in your gift.
Believe in your purpose.
EVEN WHEN YOU DON,T.

In this part of my life it means taking care of myself so I can be in the space to love myself.

Breathe, prep, plan, count points I will be a good Dolvett Doobie today.

Laurie

I would love everybody to introduce themselves a mini bio.

I,m Laurie from Boise Idaho.
One son and a big loveable lab. My son is grown but my mothering continues. Have lost a 100 lbs using Weight Watchers And Blc. I want to close the deal and everytime I hit 182 I shoot back up but with the help of my sassies, I,m going to conquer success demons. I believe change is an inside job with outward actions. Breath, coffee everyone take time for yourself today. Laurie

Afternoon Sistas, Denise--I looked back and my only post on Thursday was my accountability stuff so don't know where you got that I asked about recipes when I never did.

I'm working late again tonight so will post today's stuff either before I go to work or tomorrow morning.

Hello all- Declutter kind of day today. Really really need to move my body. I feel like a slug. Still too sore to get a shoe on. Boo Hoo!!

A little about me...........and my loved ones

I am a 47 y/o mother of 3. One 25 y/o daughter and 2 4 1/2 y/o boy girl twins. I know I know call me crazy, but the best thing I have ever done was to bring these two children into our home. We are blessed and they are very very lucky. Adoption is wonderful! I am currently a stay at home mom but Respiratory Therapy was waht I did before the babes were born.

Preparing myself for a potential move to Minneapolis MN in the near future. Huge change but will all be good in the end!!

Weightloss has been with me forever it feels like. I do good and then not so good. Why must it be so difficult. I don't give up cuz then it means I have failed myself. I love myself and my loved ones to give up! So with your help and support I now I can do this again!

Now for the healing of my foot!
Until later.............cya

Hi all,

A bit about me. I'm 46 years old, living with my partner, Sherrie, and 2 of our 3 kids. I have two boys (21 and 14) and she has a daughter and a granddaughter(32 and 6) who live in Alabama. I am currently unemployed - I've done a lot of different jobs in my day, but I've worked in non-profit for the last 4 years and love it. Currently looking for work (need a paycheck), but I sure hope I can find something in the non-profit world.

About 8 years ago I weighed 250. I got down to 200, but then back to 215, then down to 200, then back up to 215, etc, etc, etc. In December, I got word that my cholesterol sucks. I decided that 46 was too young to have so many health issues (cholesterol and high blood pressure), so I've been very motivated to improve my health by eating smart and moving my body. Since January 16th, I've lost 13 lbs (I posted my before and current picture to the challenge photos area).

My overall goal is 150, but I am celebrating at 190 and at 170. Smile

What is so bad is I used to be in the military and weighed 135. I just let bad relationships, fear, stress, worry, (mostly fear) empty out my soul which I tried to fill with food. NO MORE. Now, I feed my soul with music, love, and nature. Okay, so it is a work in progress. LOL

Afternoon Sassies!!

I am Sherry and I am 55 years old and live in Alabama. I was married for 20 years and have been divorced for 12. I have 2 married sons and 7 grandchildren. I left my job in 12/11 to take care of my dad who at the time was 90. He is now in the nursing home and I am alone and unemployed. I really want someone in my life, but I know I need to find myself first. My biggest was 216 in 2009 and I am at 188 now. I found this group of ladies on the Biggest Loser Club site and am so happy I did. They inspire me and motivate me. I will not give up!!

Hi Everyone,

My name is Pam and I live in Texas, next month will have been married for twenty years, am 46 and have two children son (17) and daughter is (14). Cathy your story so sounds like me, I too got very concerned when I got test results that the cholesterol was too high. Now I take meds for that and high blood pressure.

I work for two self made men who have been business partners since college. My main job is to manage the accounting for all of the different entities.

For most of my life I was thin, thin and then after moving to Texas, getting married and having children, life changed and so did I. Last year I joined the BLC when I hit my highest weight of 230. Very much like Cathy my weight has gone up and down. Once I did get back to 210 but since have gained a good portion back. For my health's sake I know that I need to get this under control. I just keep getting in my way and don't know why. What am I afraid of, success?

Anyway, still nursing my cold. When I get down like this I always want comfort food. Today that is chicken and dumplings and banana pudding.

Calories were better yesterday but like Chanda my sodium was still out of control. Today I truly haven't really felt like eating, just something about the food mama used to make.

Susan - hope your toe gets better soon!

Have a wonderful rest of the day, I am headed back to the couch and kleenex.

Hi Sistas!

Laurie - I LOVE the quote you found in the book last night. Really resonated with me.

Denise - so nice to hear about YOU. And I love "Believe in the power within , light it , fuel it, feel it and mostly share it". And your adventure sounds seriously cool!!! Can't wait to hear about it.

Susan - So cool that you are momming again! How do you have the energy? I get exhausted when we spend extended time with our granddaugher!

Donna - good for you for listening to your body and staying off the TM. So cool about your husband as an extra! Where is he so I can look for him. Smile

Sherry - you are wonderful organized. Does your house even need decluttering??? LOL

Pam - you and I do sound very similar. I so struggle with eating when I need comfort. I'm trying very hard to turn to nature to recharge myself when I feel that need. Still working on it. LOL

Give me a HIGH 5 for today! Had a great food day, great workout day, got a lot of stuff accomplish. Off to spend some time with the puppies then crawl into bed to watch Once Upon a Time.

I'm still eating on the vegetable soup I made yesterday. I did put some in the freezer. It is so good and so good for me.

Pam, hope you feel better soon. My crud hung in for 3 weeks. Hope yours doesn't last too long.

Denise, what an adventure that will be! Of course I will track and post for you.

Donna, I can't wait to see the new Oz movie. How neat to be a part of that.

Cathy, you would not believe how much clutter I still have. When I moved in with Dad, we had to combine our stuff. He had been accumulating for 60 years or more and me for 30. My stuff is better than his, but he is a sort of a hoarder since he grew up in hard times and he doesn't want to let go of anything. It took me forever to convince him that just because you use it everyday, doesn't mean it has to stay on the counter. LOL!! I will get there, though.

Missed you Jessica Jane. Glad you are back!!

I'm watching The Amazing Race and taping The Bible on History Channel.
See you all romorrow.

Hi all!

I'm Renee, born in Quebec but currently residing in Calgary with my wonderful bf and most summers in the states. Like everyone else, my weight has been up and down. Most recently I was extremely ill - no doctor could find a diagnosis - and I dropped probably 20kg (thats roughly 45lb) in 6 months and stayed that way for 2+ years. It was no picnic - I could barely walk, lost most of my lean muscle and was tired all of the time. Fast forward, I started healing and of course gaining back weight. I'm not complaining though, flying every month when your that ill was always scary. I never knew when I was going to collapse (I finally did in Seattle) and had to explain to everyone why I couldn't keep up while walking. So, now I'm just trying to get my health back, muscle tone back and lose some of that pesky fat Smile My goal is 145ish but we shall see when we get there

So, here are my totals for the day:
Track - yep
Cardio - yep (another long ride 80 minutes in the wind)
water - yep
sodium - yep
f&v - don't think so - 4 so far

Ciao

I am Anne. Been married 26yrs, I have two boys 25 & 21, not boys anymore I guess. I gained weight when I got preg the first time and have just stayed heavy...creeped up to 303(YIKES). Two septembers ago I decided enough. I really have worked at getting in shape and off my lazy a__. The lowest I have been able to get is where I am now 286ish. I am still working on changing the head while I learn to enjoy a different style of eating and moving my body like I used to be able to. A little discouraging some days, that in over a whole year I have only been able to get and keep off 15lbs....but it is what it is.

Track - y
Cardio - y
Water - y
Sodium - y
F&V - y

Not to sure how the scale will look tomorrow, since I have really, really tried to control the sodium it seems like my hands and stuff have been pretty puffy. Maybe its just my messed up cycle messing with me.

Once again I didn't do well again. Only 1 pt again for H20. Ugh!

This week will be better. I was down 4 lbs, but I know it didn't hold since the toe injury. Crap is all I can say!
