This week felt good but the results were not good at all. I noticed this last month as well. Around the last of the month to the beginning of the next month my weight goes the wrong way. I am sure it is a woman thing and by the end of next week I should be fine. I am very irritated this week however because I have done all the right things. Back to the beginning. I will give my totals for the day later.

Morning Sistas, Laurie--Have a great time playing Volleyball and Tennis today.

Denise--I don't remember asking a question. I know I posted my stuff on yesterday's thread today and made the apology for not posting sooner but I only had the site up long enough to get my food journal to send to my accountability buddy Zach via facebook. Other than that I don't remember asking a question.

Good morning teamies,
-
Yesterday was busy with the FFA auction and I was so draggy and tired from this cold when I got home last night, and posting was the last thing on my mind. Nevertheless, I need to be accountable to my team. I did track my food and entered it this morning and boy did I over do it almost 2,400 calories . Yesterday will be my 20% and I will work on getting back on track today. I did manage the minimum 3,000 steps and the veggies but not the fruit unless you count the banana pudding I had for dessert.

Still nursing this cold, so today will be lots of tea and soup.

Have a great day everyone!

Pam

Morning All

Sherry - Team Bob totals yesterday 24 = GT 151

Chanda - Agree with Laurie - you put the work in and it will work. Change up your exercises and look at your eating habits is there anything that can be changed? Late eating is one of my issues.. need to stop min 4 hours before bed..

Laurie - Good Morning, Had my coffee... TYVM.. Going shopping today and then the book store saw a "healthy eating" cook book want to look at again.. Need to go back to the basic and only 4 / 5 ingr.. So starting again on Monday... Making meals tomorrow for the week. I'm so better if I plan....

Pam / Pam - Where are you. Did you fall sick? Or are you feeling better?

Susan - I think you gave me your hurt.. LOL.. Ankel is a throbbing.. going to soak and wrap it then going for a walk it is sunshinning here and I'm not missing the day... LOL

Denise - Have fun at Camp, take some pictures of all the snow.. Bet it is beautiful... PS Don't loose the puppy.. LOL..

I am going to follow Denise's suggesting and Squeeze today.. Along with it going to add a few Arm's.. Hold out in front (with some weights) at eye level as long as you can.. With weight behind your head (work the tri's) Keep elbows close to head and lower the weights...

Will check in later with you all..

Donna

Would everyone be willing to share a 4/5 ingredient recipe over the next few days? I'd love a main course kind of something. I am SO bored with what I make... same same over and over.

Team Dolvett was 17 yesterday for a total of 105.

Jessica Jane, you hanging in there?

Laurie, I so wish you lived near me. I don't have any active buddies here. I'd LOVE to play volleyball and tennis. And you aren't filling the void - you are hanging out with friends having fun. Focus on what you DO have, not what you don't. Smile

I'm off for a 60 min stationary bike ride to get miles in. Tomorrow I'll do elliptical. I have a date with the shrew Jillian Michaels at 5pm. UGH My favorite part is when the workout is over and I say, goodbye Jillian. However, I've definitely had an improvement in both strength and endurance from Monday through Friday, so I think I'm on the right track doing this.

Catch up later, Sistas. Move it to lose it!

Good Afternoon!!

Well, I'm back in sunny (and warm!) Las Vegas this week. My bf is tagging along this time, I think he had enough cold and snow Smile. Wow, looks like I missed alot. Didn't get around to posting yesterday (sorry teamies) but I did manage to make my 5. So we are off to rent some bicycles as its supposed to be sunny and 70 F all week - no excuses for me. And since I don't have to cook for myself this week, well lets hope he sticks to my recipe suggestions.....
Ok, I'm off till later

Susan - hope your toe is better
Princess - sending happy thoughts your way.
Denise - have fun camping!!
Laurie - Volleyball and Tennis?? You go girl!
Pam - Get well soon - lots of chicken soup.
Donna - Take care of that ankle

Cheers!

Hello Everyone!!

Does anyone have a Wii Fit, and if so how do you like it? Is it easy to set up? I'm thinking about getting one. I live in an area that is not safe to walk alone and I always have to drive to a park or to the gym and I thought it might be easier to exercise if I had something that made it fun. I have exercise dvds, but don't use them that much. The Wii is interactive isn't it?

Denise, enjoy your day off! After lunch tomorrow will be fine to get your totals.

Chanda, you can do this...we are here for you.

Laurie, glad that you are having warmer weather today. Enjoy it!! It is only 37 here and a high of 42.

Pam, hopefully you are feeling better.

Donna, late eating is also one of my problems. I am so hungry at night.

Susan, how's your toe??

Cathy, I will try to post a recipe that I think you will enjoy. That's a great idea!!

See you all tonight!

Sherry,

I have a Wii Fit... Its like the video, although you do see it on your TV and keeps track of how you do the exercise, it still entails you doing it... I haven't used my in awhile. I should get it out again and play it again....

Off to have dinner with the BIL and SIL... Fish is on the menu.. Yummy

TTY All soon..

Hello all
Toe is still not good. Still unable to walk on the treadmill. Miss it and will really mess me up for my weigh in Mon. I was doing so good. Thanks for the well wishes. Doing other exercises just not cardio. Ugh

Denise your day sounds like it was fun with the shower.

Sherry- I have the Wii Fit. It's ok. The kids like it better. I like the Wii Zumba and want to get the Wii Dance. Wii Sports is another one we have too.

Donna I swear I didn't send you my pain.....what did you do? Sorry

Laurie- Do you play tennis all year round?

Cathy I love new recipes. I'll think of one.

Not doing well for points today sorry team BOB!! Sad
Until later.....cya

Hi there Sistas!

Denise - jealous of you camping. Of course, I wouldn't here - we are cold and snowy in GA.

Chonda - The last two weeks were just like that for me. I think I lost a total of 0.2 or something ridiculous. But remember, you want to focus on the overall picture - if you lose 1 lb a week for 3 weeks and then gain 1 lb one week, you are still 2 lbs LOST! It is so tough to remember that though when you feel like your body is betraying you.

Pam - did you have a better day on calories? Sometimes, you just have to let it go and do what you do. I've definitely had days like that!Days when I didn't even COUNT. LOL

Donna - I LOVE to work on triceps. Not sure why. LOL

Drose - I would love to be biking with you! Have a BLAST.

Sherry - I've not been big on doing videos, but I'm really feeling the result from doing Jillian's 30 Day Shred. The scale will tell over the next couple of weeks. Smile I like to go to the gym, though. It is my private time - I put my music on so I don't even have to talk to anyone. LOL

Susan - I have a suggestion for cardio from Jillian (the shrew LOL). In 30 Day Shred, she says if you have a lower body injury, do punches. Spread legs and go into a squat, then raise your hands in front of your face in fists. Then punch alternating hands crossing them in front of body. Surprisingly tough.

High 5 for me today! woohoooo AND I kept my calories under 1,500 even with the fact that I allotted myself 3 drinks tonight (Rum mixed with Crystal Light fruit punch - drinking it on ice, but I also like to freeze it for a slushy).

Cathy- 30 Day Shred is EVIL!!! Evil or Very Mad I do it but can't make it thru the whole 30 days. Kills me. I'll do the punches now!!! I'll pretend it's Jillian. No I am not that evil! Thanks for the suggestion! Oh and your drink sounds yummo!!Shock

Thanks to all who responded to my question about the Wii. While I was researching it a commercial came on for Hip Hop Abs. I love to dance and ended up ordering it instead. It was on special for 19.95. Includes 4 videos and other stuff. I can't wait it will be here in 3-5 days. Should be fun if I will just do it. LOL

I finally made the turkey vegetable soup. It turned out great and I have a dutch oven full. Will freeze some of it for later.

Track - y
Cardio - y
Water - y
Sodium - y
F&V - y

I'm going to get laundry out of the dryer and put it away 1 piece at a time. A great suggestion from Denise that I have grown to love.

Good evening ladies!!!

I did not do perfect today but I did rather well and here are my results:

Track-YES
Cardio- YES (20 min. and two miles)
Water-YES
Sodium-I will get back with that in a moment
Fruits & Veggies- I failed. I only had a few extra veggies in my chili and two fruits.

Thank you all for the support and I know that next week I should be better. I have been losing two pounds or more every week since I started making healthy choices so all is not lost.

Donna- I am starting a new nutrition plan in another week and a new workout routine so hopefully I will see better and bigger results. Please pray for me:0) Have a great night everyone until tomorrow.
