Well here in Michigan... We are coming in like a Lion, hope to go out like the Lamb... LOL

Sunshine, you brought a smile to my face.. However, Laurie is correct, the core of us have all done the exercises, we switch each month so that the heavy load doesn't fall to one person...

So today will be>>>>>>>Friday: Calf Raises -

Start with mimimum(30 and add 1 each way for any additional rep's) Toe's pointed front, toe's pointed out and toe's pointed in... Just a suggestion to work different muscle's within the calf and leg...

TGIF.. Although I go in tomorrow, its always easier when not everyone is there.... Pam, did you send the Auditors my way.. LOL... getting ready for Fed Audit.. ugh.. Oh well it will be what it will be...

Today:
B - Oatmeal - blueberries and apple
L - Salad, Turkey meatballs
D - Subway (my day not to cook.. Yipee)
Snacks - Canteloupe, Banana and Celery and Cuke's..

Hope that everyone enjoys the day..

TTY Soon

Donna--Don't feel bad cause I have to work all weekend but then again I work most weekends anyways. I did squats yesterday at the gym got in 3 sets of 15 of them and then didn't count last night at Zumba the squats we did.

Drinking my spark to try and get going for the day since I don't drink coffee.

Morning,

ugh sorry Team Jillian (no excuse I know ) but could not post last night, migraine whacked me in the head and sent me to bed..... wow glad that is over

Beautiful day today and I feel wonderful....... Life is great.

Team Jillian
Wed Feb 28 = 24 points
total =99

Sherry here are our totals.....

Way to go team, sorry about not posting mine, did not want to puke on the computer ........no worries I know I did the 5 needed. Afterall at the end of the day it is all for ourselves.

So if you find life throws a curve ball do your very best anyway.

I did get in 90 mins tm time yesterday
10 wall squats and 60 sumo squats
felt great....

Anita
alj217 welcome glad my directions worked to get you here.
enjoy the group they are fantastic and help motivate when you feel down. or need a kick in the butt too..... Smile

Anne
you did great on sodium. Smile knew you could do it.

I really try, not perfectly, but really try to avoid things from a package......those are the salt killers..... especially certain soup cans, read the labels and check out the sodium in things......

Not sure what everyone lese does but as per my naturopath
my 2 main things I watch for are sugar & salt contents.....
I am a 95 % gluten free eater.... 5 % of life just happpens sometimes .
Remember no one is perfect, and if they say they are they are lying ...Smile

sugar builds the ring around our waists the female heart attack waiting to happen they call it

salt inflates us and swells other things in our bodies, even though it tastes yummy, just try to cut back a smidge , one meal at a time.

What are the main things YOU watch for ? share it would be cool to see what they are and maybe we can all learn from each other !!!!

ok have to go grocery shopping (speaking of labels)
and I will post my accountability on time today.......

Great job to all teams.

Denise,
I,m okay with giving u a high five, medical is a valid excuse, migraines are horrid, although I thimk u should train the lab to post, lol hope u r feeling better.

I eat clesn 80% of the time if it doesnt have a mother or come from the ground don,t eat. Less than 5 ingredients. Trying to find chees with less than 5 is a challenge. I eat fresh no sugar, no salt, no white. Unless I,m having an emotional breakdown then all of the above is what I eat but I,m working on that. Tonight, Laurie

So I hurt really bad. wearing a sandal that I can velcro loose to at least get out and about. I really need to walk on the treadmill. My body is screaming for it but doubtful it will happen.

Denise I am so sorry about the migraine. I know you suffer pretty bad.

I got my little one to try oatmeal with me this morning and she loved it but she wanted blueberries and I don't have any. Trader Joes here I come.

Enjoy your day.

I had the day off and after getting a haircut, groc shopping for me and with my mom, making soup for lunch with mom, cutting her scraggley hair down - should start growing back soon we hope, taking her home, fixing the laundry bifold door - tired of waiting for hubby to do it, I am now going to start cleaning the house. I may even find some time to make broccoli slaw for dinner! I don't know why things take so dang long. I thought Id have the house all done by now and relax. Oh well.

I really never bothered to watch my sodium much. Mostly calories and fiber, fiber, fiber, lol.

Is there anyway to enter my own recipies here like on blc? I know for some meals it seems tedious to enter each ingredient so I just use a stock item here and I know it must assume it was eaten out ya know, so then the sodium is probably higher than it would be if I listed stuff seperately.

Gotta go chase a puppy now and finish the house. Will update later tonight.

Glad headache is gone Smile

Friday night and boy am I glad!!! What a week.

Great news is that I do not have glaucoma - no damage to my optic nerve. I do have ocular hypertension (high pressure in my eye), so I go back in 6 mths from now for a pressure check and in 12 mths to look at my optic nerve again.

We stopped at Applebees do celebrate and I did good! I pulled up the nutrition information on my phone while we looked at the menu. I kept my calories under, sodium under - whole thing - even though Sherrie and I split a brownie bite dessert.

I'm 5/5 today.

Biggest thing I'm lacking is miles. I don't have a pedometer, so I get my mileage at the gym. I've had such a busy week, I've stuck to just the 30 Day Shred workout and only have 2 miles in at the gym. Tomorrow and Sunday are going to see me hoofing it at the gym!!!!
