Weeks 1 to 12
Guidelines:
Weddings create all sorts of delicious reasons to overindulge: engagement parties, showers, tastings! Instead of cutting out any particular things, focus more on limiting how much you eat. Record everything that you eat in your journal. Tips: Plan, plan, plan. Pack your lunch instead of buying or hitting up the vending machine (more dollars for the honeymoon!). Drink a full cup of water before you eat anything. Shoot to eat 5 – 6 mini meals to keep your metabolism up. Close the kitchen 3 hours before bedtime (usually between 6pm – 7pm). To lose one pound a week, aim to have a calorie deficit of 500 each day.

Weeks 1 to 12
Guidelines:
One hour of exercise is required each day from each of you brides-to-be. Aim for a 30 minute workout in the morning and a 30 minute workout in the afternoon / evening. Don’t worry – walking the dog, cleaning your home, your favorite exercise DVD, and of course the gym all count. Record all of your activity in your Fatsecret exercise diary.

Weeks 1 to 12
Guidelines:
The pressure of “wedding” is enormous. Chill out and stay positive. No trash talking or self-deprecation here. Be kind to yourself and always forgive yourself. Instead of focusing on your “flaws” say out loud nice things about yourself every day. The power of positive forward thinking will get you to your ultimate weight loss goal. For sanity and health get 8 hours of sleep each night.
