Morning all,

Very quick hello and it is off to get ready for work.

CP, I can relate to the busy time of year, I am beginning preparations for our annual audit. Just love those CPA's lol! I am blessed to you have a great firm to work with. I will stay busy now until early March.

I have fallen off the wagon so to speak and not been taking good care of myself and put back on all the weight I had lost. Really need to find myself and what will work for me.

Everyone seems to be getting along so well and I am so out of the loop. I had been trying to log in through my phone while at work on the full site and couldn't so here I am briefly. My steps for the week of 12/09-12/15 were 38,105 according to my weekly fitbit report.

Miss you all and your wonderful inspiring stories. Need to run now.

Have a good day!

I started again yesterday and failed miserably guess not good to shop on empty stomached

Laurie, hoot for boss and can we add measurements from start to finish, it always is motivating when the scale may move a bit but lost inches!!

Off to tread through the snow and 4 day week of work

Have a Great Day

Water: yes
Grateful: Today I am grateful that I don't have to struggle finding something in my closet to wear because of size!
Track: yes
Steps: 8735, (just saw a typo from yesterday, Think that should have been 4001).
Breathing: yes
Cardio: TREADMILL!!!! WOO HOO!
6 pts.

Busy day, busy week. Have two Christmas lunches at work this week (one division lunch & one department lunch). Hoping to keep my food in check.

Downloaded a pedo for my phone. Curious to see how it works.

Gotta run! Have to pick up grandkids and drop at school. And, got testing started early today. Why do these people wait til the last hours to do their tests and then moan when they cannot find an appt? Opening early to accommodate.

Water plan for today: taking 4 bottles to work and 2 bottles after I get home.
Cardio plan for today: S7

Have a good one!

Morning Sassies, Points for yesterday 5 and steps 10,157. Plan for today is to call the dr and see if I can get in this week for a meds refill anyways and to get something stronger for this cold or whatever that I've got.

Hey Sassies! I'm really thinking about trying the Daniel Fast starting January 1. Luckily we had the book here at the library so I checked it out. What I like about it is that it's a very doable plan. It's not like the ones where you can only drink juice and water for days. It mainly cuts out meat and other animal products. I think it will be a challenge but I really think I can do this. It's only 21 days and I want to jump start my new year with a detoxed body! Any comments? Yay or nay?

Oh and tonight after work I'm going to another holiday party with my coworkers from my old job. My plan is to eat clean all day today, which hasn't been too difficult. Luckily, most of the people there tend to eat on the healthier side so I hope there are some great options. It's potluck so you never know what you will get! All I know is that the main dish is smoked turkey. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for lots of veggie options! lol.

Forgot to do my daily gratitude for today. I am grateful that I can get into the Dr Thursday morning. Just have to make it through truck day tomorrow.

Going to take this week off from Zumba and then the studio is closed next week and the week after so I'll have until January 7th to be ready for Zumba again.

Good morning, all!
Yesterday was very stressful. Spent most of the day in court. We were the plantiff, but court is never fun. I am thankful that I am not a lawyer. Smile I did get all six points because I started the day with a 2.5 mile walk/run at the gym.

Morning teamies,

Thanks for knowing what I know I,m a sassy worker,la la la lah ,la...Work today and spent too much time on this thinking. I,d like to do a c25k in Jan. I hate running but I love training my blackberry has an app with c25k,strengthtraining I,d like to try. Somebody mentioned earlier another training plan they like, could u mention again??

Sassy Sista,s Kickstart it is!!

C, bet u r glad u started day with walk if u were in court.

Danielle, I think the new Daniel plan by Rick Warren sounds more interesting. Friends, focus, food, faith and something else. It,s lifelong doable.

Sarah, Feel better,it took me a week and no fun.

Donna, If u want to take your measurements u can mail them to me. Only total and anyone else who likes.

Off to work and Pam u are out of loop only if u choose we are always here for u. Our life is no more interesing or easier. I,ve been laying low too but I,m back.

Kat wheres the coffee,Laurie

It may have been me if it was a running trainer plan: Jeff Galloway. He has plans for 5Ks, 10Ks, half-marathons and full marathons. LOVE it. I tried Couch 2 5K (just the free version)...but the Galloway incorporates your own music and changes the beats per second to fit the pace you are to travel.

I finally put that pedometer back on my hip....yesterday evening. But, I believe I do have 6 points for yesterday finally.

Steps: 4250 once I finally put it on at 7pm
Water: 130 ounces (it's easier if you start drinking early in the day---water, not booze)
Tracked: Yes.
Thinked: Yes.
Cardio: 45 minutes cycling plus Scientific 7
Gratitude: I'm grateful to be borrowing my brother's stationary bike so that I can vary my cardio workout.

Tried a little experiment this morning. After reading yet another fitness/nutrition article, I added 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to my water this morning. Let me just tell you, I'd rather lick tree bark. Not real sure I'm going to continue with this practice no matter how many ailments it is suppose to cure.

Danielle, I say try the Daniel Fast if you think it is something that will give you a boost after the first of the year. I personally prefer to take in animal protein as I find that I consume too many bad carbs when I take meat out of my diet. But it may well work for you. The thing about dieting is that different things work for different people. We just have to keep trying until we find our perfect fit.

C, I feel your pain about court.

I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas lunches, shopping and festivities the rest of this week.

Susan how goes your day today and congrats on no septic bursa.....yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Becky h20 I am doing a lot of hot water (like tea but no tea just water with lemon to get it in) I don't like drinking cold water when I am cold.....

Renee have fun on vacation !

Sarah dance at home.

Cheryl court is never any fun unless your putting away a bad guy.

Loren I do a smidge of light running now and again on tm, but only to move a little more.

Morning!
Having a lazy Tuesday morning! On cuppa coffee #2 in my jammies and slept in past 7:30! I fell asleep in the recliner yesterday afternoon and fortunately did not oversleep getting ready for Aqua Zumba! But I had no students last night! Must be the holidays! And my sub stint is quickly drawing to an end so I am looking forward to not driving that 1 hour each way by the end of the month! Woo Hoo!
Okay so what do you do when you have pre-eaten for your late night high energy class that you didn't teach? Gotta burn some calories! I made it back in to town to hit up my friend's Zumba class that she teaches from 8-9 pm and got in a great workout! Taught a few routines! But I like attending another instructors classes because I work new muscles and really get a good workout. And man my booty & my shoulder feel it today! LOL!
Points - 6
Steps - 15,186
Water - 80 oz
Tracked - y
Breathe - y (I count napping in the recliner! LOL)
Exercised - y
Gratitude - y
Today I am grateful for my friends who have been so supportive of me. Thanks for the email Laurie!
Okay and then I heard a song on my ipod last night - White Christmas by Bing Crosby. I shed a few tears for my dad. I could hear him sing and whistle in my head to the song. It's been 5 years since he passed. Every once in a while I get misty still though!
I started a new client yesterday on Take Shape For Life!
Listen - ladies - I understand all your fasts and juicing and etc, but it is seriously the easiest program I have ever done! You eat 5 meal replacements a day and have 1 lean and green meal. I plan on going back on it in January and getting back to my goal, then on keeping it off for real this time! I lost 65 pounds in 7 months and have kept all but 10 of it off!
Okay - things to do!
Everybody keep your eye on the prize and don't let the stress get to you!

Hello everyone!

I have been very discouraged since I got the fitbit and it didn't work for me. I quit wearing it after Friday when I worked all day on my feet and then came home and cooked for a couple more hours for my party on Saturday and at bedtime it said I had about 2500 steps. I will get a different ped before we start the new challenge. I know I have been slacking, but a lot of different things are going on in my life and I promise I will be back and re motivated for the new challenge.

I hope everyone is doing well. I finally caught up on all of the tracking and here are week 6 results:

Top steppers:
Sarah - 76475
Donna - 54889
Denise - 36485
Becky - 36320
Renee - 35761

Top point earners:
Sarah - 42
Kat - 42
Megan - 38
Donna - 34
Loren - 32

Superstar - Megan with 112601!!

Congrats! I will be back with week 7 results in a bit!

Have a great day!
