Morning Sassies!

I slept in and I am still first. Where is everyone??

I am ready for day 2. I had peach french toast this morning. It was ok. It was definitely missing something (milk and sugar). LOL I am taking Dad to lunch at Outback Steak House and I will have a steak and a cinnamon only sweet potato. Snacks are apples and melon and dinner will be chili. I absolutely love the chili.

Laurie, I'm always sad when vacation time ends. I'm sure you and Bob will continue to have lots of fun.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning,

Sherry- Day Two here I come also, must admit I did get hungry yesterday. This morning oats made with water (ick), a packet of stevia and frozen mixed berries. Same snacks for me today. I am winging most of the meals since I don't have the cookbook.

Have a good day all.

Hey all- 1/2 day of orientation and I survived. Now real work on Thurs and Friday!! I walk in the door and my son says did you bring home money so I can get the lego airplane set? LOL He won't forget I told him I would buy a new toy when I got paid.

Happy anniversary Denise!! enjoy your special day with Rocky. And Happy Birthday to your son. Ugh remind me their names again. I can't keep them straight. Did Rocky like the M&M's?

Sherry I too love the chili. I have it all the time and it freezes really well. I really like the brown rice pasta if you have not tried that yet.

Tonight is treadmill night. I save it for Tues so I can watch Extreme Weightloss. Keeps me motivated

Kat I hope you enjoy the book and find that this diet is something you want to try. I feel awesome and have seen so many changes in my body in just 16 days.

Have a great afternoon and keep cool!

Susan

Happy anniversary Denise!
Susan, leggos are fun! How could he forget???
Kat, no way could I sleep in this week. Alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m.
Pam, I don't think I could do those oats.... BTW, really like your signature!
Sherry, have fun at lunch with your dad!

I had an increase in my hours at work for a little bit but no appts today so it's a day to get things done here at the house. Emptied the freezer and cleaned it out. So much junk to get rid of. Also cleaned the patio after the dog stayed outside all last week, mostly hair but also cleaned up some flower pots that had dried up. Have yet to get some budgeting done.

Before I took on my projects this morning I was able to get in a good walk over 3.5 miles and used an app on my phone but my phone died before I got back home.

Tracking foods and trying to get in the water.
Steps were 4076. Pedo is still not working right.
Strength was walking and have no idea on fiber. And I had a little snack last night after dinner. BUT, I saw the scales do down 1.5 pounds. Working on getting rid of that gain from last week.

Have a good day! Looking forward to the new challenge next week!

Yes, Happy Anniversary Denise and HB to your son as well. Enjoy your dinner and splurge to your heart's content, such a special time.

Becky I love oatmeal but the only saving grace was the fruit and stevia since I usually make mine with milk. Becky my signature defines how I feel about this group of ladies. Pick yourself a title...

Susan - knew you would make it through all the red tape, lol. Now for the real deal and of course treating the kids to presents. What brand of rice pasta do you buy and where do you get it? I have such limited resources out in the sticks where we live so I need to make a run one day after work here in the big city. I did finally find the Ezekiel bread in the freezer section at the HEB grocery store. Yeah!

Sherry - how goes the new job? Hope you and your dad had a nice lunch.

Kat- only one cup of coffee for me, trying to give it up for FMD. I must say that it is 3:00 here and I am now yawning like there is no tomorrow.

Laurie - ok fun times are over - back to the grind - are you screening calls now and only talking to Bob? Smile

Chat with you all later,

Pam

Afternoon!

Happy Anniversary Denise!!! Thats so great you too still have that fire going. My parents just celebrated #60 and act that way too Smile

Sounds like FMD is working well for everyone on it - Awesome!!! Keep at it. I think its great you're all glowing Smile

Becky - good job on the walking. I did my C25K run this morning when I woke up, up to running 25 minutes and 2 weeks till I'm at 30. I may just register for a winter 5K.

Susan - too funny about your son. At least you didn't promise a trip to Legoland

Sherry - have fun with your dad. Outback sounds yummy - I may have to go too since BF isn't back yet and I'm feeling a bit lazy today.

Everyone enjoy the rest of your day and Denise enjoy dinner!

Ciao

Evening Sassies!

I had a great time with Dad today. He really enjoys getting out of there for awhile. Outback was closed at lunch so we went to Logan's Roadhouse. I skipped and the yeast rolls and the peanuts and just loved watching him enjoy them.

I made a salad dressing last night to have on my salad today and it was fantastic! I used peaches, apple cider vinegar, basil, lime juice and stevia and then added water to get the consistency I wanted.

Pam, I am looking forward to tomorrow's breakfast, a veggie omelet, and am prepared with nuts, strips of steak, strips of chicken and lots of frest veggies. I expect tomorrow to be hard.

Kat, Let us know what you think about the book.

Denise, Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to Jesse. Have fun tonight. This is a pretty special day!

Susan, I have not tried the brown rice pasta...maybe in P3.

Donna, The cinnamon apple oatmeal sounds great. I will try it too!!

Steps for Monday were 7220 and 4 points.

I will be dancing during Extreme Weight Loss. That will be my cardio for tonight.

I hope I don't bore you all with too much info, but posting what I am eating and doing helps me with accountability.
