Morning All,

Will post numbers for steps later this evening as I forgot them at home.

Lost 4 lbs this week... Yipee.... Cheated yesterday, as a friend called and she needed some company, I went to dinner with her, ate off FMD, somewhat but mostly kept too it.. Have my week meals palnned.

Laurie - Sounds like you had a GREAT Time, so happy to hear you smile while you write.

Susan - Enjoy your first day of work, and hope the kiddies enjoy their first day at school.

Sherry - Let us know what you think about FMD, and how you feel during your journey with it.

Hope that everyone has an Enjoyable Weekend, and lets get this week moving.

Good morning Denise, Donna and the rest of you Sassies!

Well, it sucks but I have to report I gained 5.? lbs from my week of vacation last week. Now that hubs has gone back to work this morning and I am headed that way shortly too, maybe I'll get my act back together. I just enjoyed my time away and ate too much and didn't sweat like I should have even though I felt like we kept going and going and was ready for a vacation from our vacation. It just wasn't enough. I didn't have any of those days of dripping sweat like I do when I go to 9R or have TM time. Plus, when your hubs decides he is going to fix one more special meal for our anniversary, even though it's Sunday lunch and I'm ready to eat light in anticipation of this morning's weigh in, how do I tell him I don't want him to grill steak, baked potato, and dessert??? I don't want to hurt his feelings yet I want to get myself back on track. Oh well, it was only one more meal right. NOW, I can have more control over my foods and my sweating! So, on to conquer what I gained and tell it goodbye!

I tracked food in my head but haven't logged it yet.
Have no idea on steps. Pedo is still acting weird. Maybe I should check to see about a battery for it or something. I have no idea on my fiber either. No strength at all yesterday but did do some grocery shopping after church. After dinner snack, yes unfortunately I had a tad more dessert at hubs offering. So no points for me yesterday at all. End of challenge weight: 183.4

Good morning Sassies!!

I'm starting my morning with an oatmeal smoothie. It's not the best thing I've ever had, but not the worst either. I bought a nice sweat proof, insulated water container and it is filled with my first 16oz. I will have to drink 6 of these today. No coffee for me...hope I can stay awake. Laughing

Denise, I love a good thunderstorm!! Lightning is amazing. Wink

Donna, I'm hoping to feel better as the week goes by. This morning I am really missing my coffee. Rolling Eyes

Becky, Vacations are nice, but they really mess with our plans, don't they? I would not have been able to tell hubby no, either. I love a man that cooks. Smile

Ditto on the hubs, I forget to post on days he is off work, lol.

Oh, my weight is the same basically. Overall I am up a pound from the beginning of this challenge. I guess considering I we have had some life changing events this summer...I will call it good.

And I think I will look into getting a fitbit? Which one do you all use? The fitbit one or the fitbit zip. Maybe I just need to get a pedo, dunno. Message me if you want.

Off to the shower and to pack the car...hope to stop at the tonto natural bridge on our way to Sedona!

Becky, Hubby's sometimes aren't fun. LOL.. Got mine almost trained, just not totally, "I don't want you to have to cook" lets go out.. UGH... Anyways, Today is a new day you will do fine

Sherry - I had mine til day 5, feel better now, but got decaf this weekend and feel absolutely great this morning.

Anne - I have the Fitbit One, absolutely love it.. It is part of my morning ritual of getting dressed to just slip it on with my clothes. It will count steps, Flights of Stairs activity and such.

morning, home at 7 am slept till 10:30 weather here is so heavy with the hanging storm still, sunny but swinging back this way, so of course my head is giving me big balls......... up and working thru the pain.....it will not win

Donna congrats on your 4 good job....

Becky hubby was sweet to think of you and treat you......so today do a good workout and back on track....

Sherry I love the herbal teas now, very calming and the morning one is roisboss it is a stronger herbal version to gives me the natural kick I need......

Anne fitbit one, and as you know I love it ,let me know when you got it and I will invite you on fitbit to say hello to Donna, Laurie, Susan, Dana, Britt, Sarah, Kat & I .......I track my food, sleep activity and the site is free ....it helps me keep track of the proteins wich my body struggles with holding onto ..... you will love it it also tracks how many times you wake up.......I only take it off to shower/swim......
when I go out in public dressed nice then it is on the inside of my bra facing in ( cannot loose it this way) when I workout it is on my left hip....

Weigh in I am up 0.8 so I will dance cause yesterday I was up 2....
Still sticking with the plan cause my face glows as people have commented a few times this past week, I feel good on it , and it is real food BUT I am throwing in daily walks as per my naturopath for this week and see what happpens.........

ok now to keep myself awake as I flip back from nights to days, going to clean house and sway the hips while doing it......

to all a fantastic day Smile I am exactly where I am suppose to be in life's plan...................

Happy muggy, steamy Monday Sistas! Weather here in SoCal has turned weird...hail, rain, funnel clouds, thunder about 95 miles from me but all we've gotten here is just awful humidity. Wouldn't mind the humidity if it would at least rain...maybe a little thunder storm??

Afternoon!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday. Its blissfully quiet here so far (keeping my fingers crossed). BF should be back home Wednesday then we are off again in two weeks to Santa Barbara, CA for some r&r.

Becky, don't sweat the small stuff. As long as vacation was fun those 5lbs will melt away as quickly as you gained them. Probably half water anyway Smile

Susan - Have a great first day!!

Kat - yep, that California weather certainly is odd. I think all the rain went to Nevada. My office in Vegas said it nearly flooded yesterday.

Sherry - what is in an oatmeal smoothie??? I'm imagining an oatmeal cookie with milk blended.....

Denise - Feel better. Its been drizzling here all day - no thundershowers yet, but I think they're coming.

I am on the roller coaster again and am up this week. Today was busy getting caught up on work from last week.

Hi all,

We could use a thunderstorm here, too. sticky and hot. Another long day at work, not done yet, working at home and gotta go in on the early bus tomorrow to get things ready for another event that starts at 8.

Kind of had a rest weekend, kept forgetting the potty squats then remember then half hour later. Did my 5k on sunday tho, mm = 11:10, 5k = 43minutes (15m run/rest walk). tomorrow is c25k w5d2, more than halfway there. Smile

here's particulars for fri, sat, sun:
fri: 11258 steps, 3 pts
sat: 5725 steps, 4 pts
sun: 8815 steps, 4 pts

weigh in, down 4.2 pounds for the week.
grateful for air conditioning, water, music to dance to, summer fruit, and watching my cats watch birds outside the window.

I love my fitbit one, it's part of my morning and evening routine, too. I like the stairs tracking and the sleep monitor. Boy you can tell when I am tired I sleep good! I think tonight will be one of those nights.

Heading out into the steambath that is outdoors today. Had to do my walks by walkig laps around the inside of the building, it was just too hot!

Renee-yeah, I saw pictures of Vegas on the news...sure wish some of that rain would hit Yosemite.

Hot, tired, & feeling bloated so am on my way home for some PT in the pool.

Donna--Do you not use your fitty to track your sleep too? I wear mine on the waistband of my PJ's at night and on my bra during the day. The only time I take my fitty off is to change into my pj's at night or put clothes on for the day.

Anyone else that has a fit bit does yours have a name? I was thinking of naming mine MAC after the guy who owns the gym I go to we call him MAC and he makes me work hard but so does Christian so could name my fitty that too not sure what I want to name fitty.

Renee, an oatmeal smoothie contains steel cut oats, water, fruit and ice and stevia. Yours sounds much better.

My steps for Sunday were 9011 and 1 point.

I survived day one of the FMD. I liked the chicken and barley soup, but next time I will some different veggies for some of the squash. I absolutely love the chili. I will make this recipe again and again.

Congrats to everyone completing challenge. This was a good run and I am looking forward to the next one.

I didn't have steps for yesterday since I fogot to wear my stepper. I seem to not wear it on the weekend.

I didn't do the potting training, have enough "issues" in there these days. (TMI...sorry)

Hello teamies,

I,m back sad vaca is over. I got off plan now I,ve drank wine and feel woozy. I,m coming down from my vaca high. I will post challenge results by Wed. For sure. I had the time of my life and trying to incorporate that with my not so exciting life. Life coach said I have had a major change in my life direction and I need to ack owledge how far I,ve come. I drank wine instead. Not best example but my reality. Life is so good I,m scared and excited. I so loved this challenge and cant wait till next. Nite, Laurie
