Good morning, Sassies!

Thursday:
steps - 8851
fiber - 33.9
track food - yes
no snack - yes
strength - yes, with my imaginary hula hoop! Smile feel the burn, woot!

5 points. Smile

Sherry, congrats! That is awesome!!!
Kat & Danielle, hope you are feeling better!
Susan, yummy dinner, and btw I got two Danskin Now as Walmart yesterday - love them. Thanks again for the tip!
Denise, love your fire alarm story. Very Happy
Brenda, thanks for sharing your the protein info, good to have a number in mind.

Last time I really worried about protein was when I was pregnant with my son (2nd baby) I took a Bradley class and they encourage high protein ~100 g per day during pregnancy. so I was tracking and my protein numbers were like 140, which totally surprised me, but turned out it was the milk - I called my son my "milk baby" because all I craved with him was milk, milk, milk, so drinking like 8 glasses a day is 64 g right there.

Here's to a Fabulous Friday!

Denise I was in bed at 9:30 and got up at 7:30. I too was whooped!
Have a great day at work.

Steps are the lowest in a long time. 4602 Points were 3 points.

Today I am not sure what we are doing. Saltdog baseball game tonight with our Multiples group. I have never taken the kids by myself, this should be interesting.

Help sassies. Just helped my sassy sista out!!!

I am pretty sure it's water in ounces you should be drinking. oz in half your body weight. I read somewhere that too much protein in the body can't be burned and therefor can turn to fat. Need to research that to get the correct info. I am only going off what I remember and that isn't saying much............lol

Just did 3.2 on tm. Shower time and Lunch!!

Hello Sassies!!

I had too much fun last night at the baseball game. I celebrated getting the job I wanted by eating chicken fingers and fries and drinking 3 beers. But, oh I had so much fun!!

Where did everyone get their hula hoops? I really want to get myself one.

Renee, tell your sister that we send her well wishes for her journey and that if she needs support, she can come here anytime!!

Meg, I gave you an extra point on Wed for something new. Coaching is definitely worth a point! LOL!! Laughing

Pam, I am waiting on that ranch to be ready. Remember that Laurie and I are roomies. Smile

Susan, Respiratory Therapy will still be there later. Now is the time to enjoy those children. They grow up so fast. Have fun at the game.

Denise, I am laughing with you about the burned popcorn. Hey, at least you have firemen to put out the fire. Do they look like the firemen in those calendars?? If so, How do you ever get anything done? Wink

Laurie, funny that you say I am now hireable...After 6 months of searching, I have had 3 offers this month.

I am missing Monday's steps and points for Donna, and Tuesday's for Laurie. You both posted, but forgot s & p. Do you still have them?

Well, I have to get out of here and go take another drug test. I am going to the Y while I am out. First time in awhile.

Be back later!

Happy Friday!

Food track ~ check
Steps ~ 15,374
Strength ~ check, loved the hooping!
Fiber ~ check
No snack ~ check

To add to the list, how about 50 jab/cross with light weights or use filled water bottles? If you are motivated, follow it up with 50 uppercuts each hand. A jab/cross is if you are right handed, jab with your left and immediate cross punch with your right. Bang, bang that fast. Uppercut is when you have your weight (dumbbell or water bottle) or closed fist if you are wearing gloves facing up, then bend your arm as you are punching up. If you want even more of a challenge while you are punching alternate your weight from feet to feet side to side or back and forth. We've all seen boxers do their thing, right?

Well, I am back down to the lowest weight I have seen since joining FS in July of last year. I am on the threshold of conquering new territory on the scales and it is kind of scary. What if I blow it? What if I get stuck AGAIN, which happens all the time? Can I finally see 175? Back sometime last week I changed my goal weight to what a "normal" person my height should weigh simply because I guess I gave up on seeing the 160s. Now, it feels achievable! Sometimes I think my body is going to do whatever it wants regardless of what I'm trying to do. So I think it has it's own mode. Shedding, when I am losing and see the scales dip; Stuck, when it won't budge at all; Screwed, when it gains and the scales climb those darn numbers even though I think I'm doing okay food/exercise. SO, since it seems my body is shedding now, this hot momma is going to dig her spurs in to help rev it on! If it's going to be in shedding mode I am going to push the water harder, sweat my fat out, and try to stay away from those foods I allow myself even when I stay within my calorie limit.

Have a great Friday Sassies!!!

Hi all,

Got on here earlier this morning to post and got distracted.

Steps yesterday 10,459 and four points, didn't make my fiber Sad

Have been doing laundry and running errands to get ready for theme park tomorrow. Woo-hoo, finally got a new pair of shoes today. Yeah!

Shall we add ten minutes of stretching/resting - something like a child's pose, etc.

Gotta get back to chores and packing.

Sherry I haven't forgot about our ranch Wink

Brenda,
Look at that list! I am already doing crunches, twists, and pushups! I am going to be doing some sweating! I think I am scheduled to do 145 crunches tomorrow on top of what's on the list. I may miss church Sunday! I probably won't be able to move!!!! LOL Believe me, the jab/crosses are not anything. All in the arms with core engaged!
