Good morning Sassies! Yesterday was a heck of a day. I ate some shrimp yesterday and had a reaction. I've never had a reaction from it EVER. I was super itchy all over! lol

I went to church after work and came home to bake a cake for mother. She's having her jewelry party at my house today. After I finished the cake I laid down to watch tv with ma but I fell asleep! This body was tired! So i didn't get my strength done...which bums me out! Oh well...I will make it up today.

Hello hello!!! Just woke up. Much needed sleep I guess!

Steps for Friday were 13,846. At about 7:00 I didn't have very many steps so I told myself to go walk til you get 10,000. Then those came a went. Whew 70 minutes later I thought I better stop! Feeling sore in my back today again. Think I need a number adjustment on the mattress!!

I had 4 points. Only got half the strength done.

New Walmart on my side of town so I'll go shop for groceries later. Much needed!

I just had a nice bike ride which put my miles for the week up to 54.5! Smile That feels very sassy!!

strength: no, again, fell asleep in the car on the way home (husband was driving!) and just dropped myself in bed after that.

Not to self don't hit the backspace button more than once, just lost my post.

Any-hoo, last night's birthday didn't get started til 9:00. Ben loved the powerpoint that Ashley made for him. He hung out for an hour, showered and headed to the watermelon festivities. Today is the big celebration. Missed the parade since I didn't get up until 9 this morning. Still drinking coffee now.

The rest of the family will probably go up there later today. Steps yesterday were 8,466 and four points (snack after dinner) but it was just a small piece of cookie cake, but eating after dinner nonetheless.

Off to see what I can get into now. Have a great day!

Afternoon teamies,

Enjoyed my date had movie and dinner. Movie was The Internship,Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, they were older guys interning at google pretty funny. Dinner not great choices could have been worse. Cocconut shrimp. And caesar salad. No bread or alcohol yeah! I swelled from sodium tho.
Today played tennis for four hours sweating ,sweating and sweating. Did strength and now I,m ready to rest. Susan inspired me to break 10,000 yesterday.

Hey everyone!

I hope you all are having a great weekend. I didn't take dad to doctor yesterday. The nurse at the home said she would have their doctor see him there. He came into my dad's room last night and touched him on the shoulder and said "Mr Hartbarger, I am going to get you something for that cough." Then he just left. No exam at all, so I got up this morning and took him to the doctor and he has bronchitis. Doc gave him 2 shots and a script for antibiotics. Hope that does the trick.

Brenda, Happy late birthday. Sorry I have been so busy and kept forgetting.

The job at CVS still hasn't started yet. I was supposed to attend orientation Monday, but found out I have to have state license first. It takes 5 to 7 days to get and I can't send off for it until Monday. Hopefully it will be here before the next Monday's class. Meanwhile I had an interview at a Credit Union yesterday. It pays more and has insurance. I am hopeful that they will hire me before I start at CVS.

Steps for Friday were 5854 and 2 points - cardio and no snack.

Pam my kids would love the watermelon festival!! Glad you had a great party for your son!

Meg bike ride sounds fun but I don't own a bike. May be a new purchase.

Ok so tonight I go another 4 miles!! Whew think I will run a bit this time to make the time go faster. Looking forward to cooler weather so I can run outside!

The shake is made from banana slices and I just had my first one and it was wonderful! I think I used 3 bananas that I had sliced a few days ago and just put them on wax paper on a cookie sheet. I let them thaw a bit and put them in the blender. I used about a third for mine and made my hub's separate because he wanted milk and ice cream mixed with his. However, for mine I just blended the banana slices and added chocolate syrup and it was really good. Tasted just like ice cream, a little banana flavor and chocolatey! Yummo!

Evening!!! Long day. This morning went to a craft show. Came home, watched a movie on TV. This evening went to my mother's. Lots of good food! I am sure all the sodium will bite me, Went over, wasn't sure about tracking it, but I was able to get it in....NOT GOOD!!! Got all my exercise in. Now thinking about turning in for the day.

For yesterday..

after dinner...of course not

Hubs has oral surgery Monday. Tomorrow going to the Walmart for his "soft" food. For him will be an abundance of ice cream!!! A problem food for me!! Used to not be, but now it is.
